Shaving Device
A shaving device comprising a handle, a support member, a blade cartridge retention frame, and a replaceable blade assembly. The support member is disposed about a first end of the handle and includes at least one arm extending outward from a yoke. The blade cartridge retention frame includes a blade cartridge retention frame magnet and is coupled to the at least one arm and configured to pivot about a pivot axis. The replaceable blade assembly includes a blade assembly magnet and a blade assembly body having a face with a razor blade. The blade assembly magnet and the blade cartridge retention frame magnet are configured to create a repulsive magnetic force therebetween to releasably couple the replaceable blade assembly to the blade cartridge retention frame.

ELEVATED BACK SHAVER
A safety razor shaves back hair of a user. An elongated back shaver handle has a grip and a blade end. A blade group has a sharp blade and a guard parallel thereto. A substrate structure is coupled to the blade end. The substrate structure is adapted to hold both the blade group and a support on a front surface with the blade group and the support spaced a distance. The blade group and the support each extend from the front surface of the substrate structure at a height sufficient to avoid loose skin of the user touching the front surface of the substrate structure. The support can be either a blunt protrusion or another blade group.
Razor head having a low shaving angle
A razor head that includes a housing having a top face defining a shaving window delimited by a front guard and a rear cap together defining a tangent plane, at least one rigid cutting member, each freely mounted in the housing, and having a cutting edge portion extending along a cutting edge portion axis, and having a cutting edge accessible through the shaving window, a guided portion extending along a guided portion axis, and a bent portion intermediate the cutting edge portion and the guided portion. An angle measured between the cutting edge axis and the tangent plane is between 5° and 30°.
Razor cartridge with reduced part count and expanded range of motion
A shaving razor having a cartridge containing a razor blade coupled to a monolithic yoke. The yoke is formed from a single piece of material possibly by injection molding. The yoke has a bridge and a pair of cross pieces each coupled to the bridge by a living hinge. The cartridge is coupled to the cross pieces and spans between the cross pieces.
Facial hair shaver with built-in facial hair pattern guides
A shaving apparatus with a canopy with a nose guard and chin guard; at least one cutting mechanism disposed on a track within the canopy, wherein the track is configured to define the outline of a beard style; and at least one motor for (a) operating the cutting mechanism(s) and (b) shifting the position of the cutting mechanism(s) around the track. The apparatus may be positioned utilizing the canopy's features. The cutting mechanisms may be spring mounted rotary blades that are pressed against the user's face.
Linkage for reciprocating razor
A linkage for reciprocating razor. The linkage with flexible regions between the blade assembly attachment points. The linkages permitting reciprocating motion of the blade assemblies where adjacent assemblies reciprocate in opposite directions. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
SHAVING RAZOR ACCESSORY
Shaving razors and cartridges are featured which include one or more removably attachable shaving aid accessories.
Shaving Device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.
SAFETY RAZOR AND BLADE UNIT FOR SAFETY RAZOR
Embodiments of the invention include a blade unit (10) for a safety razor (8), comprising: a connecting structure (14) configured to fix the blade unit to a handle (16); a blade housing (12) comprising a plurality of blades (18) having respective cutting edges (20) lying in a shaving plane and being arranged to exert a cutting action when moved across a user's skin in a shaving direction; and a rear portion (24) arranged next to the plurality of blades in the shaving direction, comprising a non-flexible concave back portion (26) that arcuately bends away from the shaving plane, and a convex lubricating pad (22) arranged on and being supported by the non-flexible concave back portion and which extends up to a rear edge (28) of the rear portion of the blade unit.
