Shaving blade cartridge
A shaving blade cartridge includes a housing extending along a longitudinal axis, having a top side, a bottom side opposite to the top side and two longitudinal sides. The two longitudinal sides extend longitudinally along the longitudinal axis between the top and bottom sides. The housing is provided with at least one protrusion. The shaving blade cartridge further includes a cutting blade mounted in the housing between the longitudinal sides, and having a cutting edge extending along the longitudinal axis, and a clip retaining the cutting blade in the housing and having at least one leg. The leg of the clip has a recess, and the recess cooperates with the protrusion of the housing.
SPONGE FLAP FOR RAZOR
A shaver accessory hinges over a sharp edge of a razor blade of a shaver and comprises an outwardly facing sponge. A substantially planar flap has the sponge and a hinge at one end. The hinge is configured to attach to the shaver with the sponge facing at least outwardly when the flap is hinged over the sharp edge of the razor blade of the shaver. A securing mechanism coupled to another end opposite the one end is configured to variably attach the another end of the substantially planar flap to the shaver when the hinge rotates at least 270 degrees about the end of the shaver handle in either a closed position or an open positon. A neoprene fabric sleeve fits over an outer end of a shaver handle to secure the hinge to the shaver.
RAZOR WITH INTERMITTENT ENCAPSULATION OF EMBEDDED BLADES
A razor assembly includes a cartridge assembly with a plurality of raised ridges that slide against the surface of a user's skin and offset a distance relative to the surface of the user's skin at which one or more blades cut hair.
Blade storage system, shaving system, and a refillable shaving head
A blade storage system for a refillable shaving head including a guard and a cover movable with respect to the guard between a retaining position, in which the cover and guard are able to retain a blade between them and a releasing position. The blade storage system including: a dispensing portion configured to retainably connect the blade to the cover of the head, and a removing portion configured to disconnect the blade from the cover. The removing portion is configured to disconnect the blade from the cover by moving the blade with respect to the cover along a bearing direction, along which the cover is configured to bear on the blade during retention of the blade to the head, and/or the dispensing portion is configured to connect the blade to the cover by moving the blade with respect to the cover opposite to the bearing direction.
TRAVEL RAZOR
A portable razor is disclosed, comprising a razor blade, a water container, a shaving lubricant, and a cover to prevent the razor from making a mess when carried in a pocket or purse. The portable razer is further equipped with an element indicator configured to indicate the position of at least one of the functional elements within the housing. Such a razor may be used while on-the-go while still keeping the advantages of a real shave with soap and water.
RAZOR BLADE WITH A PRINTED OBJECTED
A method of making a razor cartridge including providing at least one razor blade having a cutting edge extending along a length of the razor blade and printing at least one printed object on the length is provided. The razor blade is positioned between the guard and the cap where the visible surface of the at least one razor blade includes a printed object. The printed object may extend continuously along the length of the razor blade and/or may have multiple portions having a comb-like structure. The printed object appears as a solid object to a viewer's naked eye. The solid object includes a plurality of printed ink dots not visible to the viewer's naked eye. The printed object of flexible, polymer ink may act as a guard element on the razor blade which helps with glide and to manage a user's skin (e.g., bulge) during shaving.
RAZOR SYSTEM
A protector (40) for a shaving razor (10) including a handle (12) removably attached to a cartridge (22). The protector (40) includes a housing (42) for receiving and protecting the cartridge (22). The housing (42) includes a bottom wall (43), an upper wall (44) and lateral walls (45, 46, 47, 48), the upper wall (44) being provided with a first opening (49) for receiving the handle (12), and the protector (40) further including a guiding member (50) for guiding the handle (12) toward the cartridge (22) when the handle (12) is being attached to the cartridge (22).
A PROTECTOR FOR A RAZOR CARTRIDGE, A SHAVING ASSEMBLY, A WET SHAVING RAZOR, A METHOD OF USING SUCH A WET SHAVING RAZOR AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SUCH A PROTECTOR
A protector for a razor cartridge is provided. The protector includes a housing extending longitudinally along a longitudinal axis and having a front face and a rear face. The protector further is provided with a first comb disposed on the front face and a second comb opposite the first comb. The protector also includes a first trimming blade has a first cutting edge and a second trimming blade opposite the first trimming blade has a second cutting edge. The first comb and the second comb have several teeth projecting along an axis that is oblique to the longitudinal axis defining a trimming length. The trimming length is adjustable. The teeth of the first comb protrude forwardly with respect to the first cutting edge and the teeth of the second comb protrude forwardly with respect to the second cutting edge.
Dual sided razor
A dual sided razor cartridge comprising a first face and a second face opposite the first face, at least one razor blade extending between the first and second faces, and at least one handle engagement compartment positioned on each face for engagement of the cartridge with a razor handle.
SHAVING CARTRIDGE WITH ENHANCED RINSING
A razor that facilitates a user's removal of shaving lubricant, cut hairs, and other shaving-related debris, from around, and between, the razors blade(s). A scoop at the upper portion of the razors blade assembly funnels water to the blade channel in which the blades are affixed, and at least a portion of that water flows around and/or over the blade(s). The scoop captures, and directs through the razor's blades, a greater volume of water per unit time that can fee achieved with an unmodified blade assembly. The cross-sectional area of the scoop's inflow mouth is greater than that of the blade channel's outflow mouth, thereby promoting a Venturi effect which increases the speed of the waters flow over the blades.
