System and method for sensing debris accumulation in shaving razor cartridge
A system for determining a level of debris accumulation in a region adjacent to at least one blade of a razor cartridge. The system includes a sensing unit to detect a measurement parameter which is one of an amount of light reflected from at least one area adjacent to the at least one blade, and an image of the at least one area adjacent to the at least one blade. A processing unit compares the detected measurement parameter to at least one reference threshold parameter and determines a level of debris accumulation in the at least one area adjacent to the at least one blade based on an amount of deviation of the detected measurement parameter from the at least one reference threshold parameter. Information regarding the determined level of debris accumulation is provided by at least one of a light indication, an aural indication, and a haptic indication.
Hair shaving device
A device including a razor hosting portion having a combination of one or more blades operable for removing unwanted hair; an elongated handle configured to be operable for increasing a reach of a user; a camera implement configured to capture an area serviced by the razor hosting portion; a lighting piece implement configured to illuminate the area serviced by the razor hosting portion; a first gripping area with a grip enhancing texture material; a swivel head section including a swivel head with a spherical portion configured to allow the razor hosting portion to move and contour in multiple directions; a support bracket configured to surround the swivel head spherical portion; and a support arm implement extending from an end portion of the handle implement, wherein the support arm implement is configured to engage the swivel head implement.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRIMMING DREADLOCKS
A trimming assembly for dreadlocks comprises a handle. A cutting head is operatively connected to the handle. The cutting head comprises a cutting head body defining a receptacle at a radial end thereof. The receptacle is structured to receive a dreadlock. A blade protector is positioned axially within the receptacle. A curvature of the blade protector corresponds to a curvature of an inner wall of the receptacle. A blade is interposed between the blade protector and the inner wall. The blade defines a cutting edge at an axial end thereof proximate to the handle. The cutting edge is structured to cut loose hair protruding outwards from the dreadlock as the cutting head is moved along the dreadlock.

Electric shaver with imaging capability
System and method for improving the shaving experience by providing improved visibility of the skin shaving area. A digital camera is integrated with the electric shaver for close image capturing of shaving area, and displaying it on a display unit. The display unit can be integral part of the electric shaver casing, or housed in a separated device which receives the image via a communication channel. The communication channel can be wireless (using radio, audio or light) or wired, such as dedicated cabling or using powerline communication. A light source is used to better illuminate the shaving area. Video compression and digital image processing techniques are used for providing for improved shaving results. The wired communication medium can simultaneously be used also for carrying power from the electric shaver assembly to the display unit, or from the display unit to the electric shaver.

HEATED BLADES MODULAR INSERT FOR A BLADE CARTRIDGE HOUSING OF A RAZOR
A modular blade cartridge insert is structured for receipt within a previously molded and designed plastic frame of a conventional multiblade razor cartridge. The modular insert includes a cage having an arrangement of blades positioned in parallel arrangement and electrically connected in series by bridge contacts between alternating adjacent pairs of blades. The modular insert further includes an anode and catode connector for electrical connection to an electrical circuit including a power source and a switch, wherein electric current flows to the anode and through the blades and then back through the catode in the electrical circuit, upon operation of the switch to an on position to close the circuit. In a further embodiment, the multiple blades in the cage of the modular insert are heated by RF energy.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE AND RAZOR ASSEMBLY USING THE SAME
The present disclosure provides a razor cartridge including at least one shaving blade having a cutting edge, a blade housing configured to accommodate the at least one shaving blade aligned in a transverse direction, a heated area formed at the blade housing, and comprising at least one heating pattern made of a conductive material, and a non-heated area formed at the blade housing made of a material different from the heated area, wherein the conductive material included in the at least one heating pattern is a conductive plastic or metallic material, and wherein the heated area is configured to generate heat by receiving electric power from a power supply.
RAZOR ASSEMBLY
A razor assembly includes a guide housing; a drive receiving member disposed on one side of the guide housing and movable in a first direction with respect to the guide housing; a blade housing disposed on another side of the guide housing; at least one shaving blade disposed at the blade housing; a razor handle extending from the guide housing; and a drive transmission member configured to transmit a driving force to the drive receiving member. The blade housing is configured to be moved with respect to the guide housing in a second direction that is not parallel to the first direction in response to movement of the drive receiving member in the first direction. The drive receiving member is further configured to be moved in the first direction with respect to the guide housing by the driving force transmitted from the drive transmission member.
DIGITAL COMMUNICATION ON RAZOR CARTRIDGE, HANDLE AND CHARGING BASE
A razor includes a blade cartridge with multiple blades removably and pivotally attaches to a handle.
