SHAVING RAZOR SYSTEM

A shaving razor system with a handle and a shaving cartridge mounted to the handle. A circuit board having an electrical switch in communication with a power source is positioned within the handle. A heating element is in electrical communication with the electrical switch. The heating element having a skin contacting surface. The heating element has a first pre-determined temperature and a second pre-determined temperature. The second predetermined temperature is at least two degrees Celsius different from the first pre-determined temperature.

RAZOR MECHANISMS

The present invention describes a novel spring mechanism for a razor. In the razor, the spring member may be disposed in a movable member assembly, portions of which may be used for ejection or pivoting. The spring may be fully encompassed within the assembly and be placed within supporting structures therein. The spring is a loop-shaped element having overlapping end portions with free distal ends. Alternately, the spring member is tear drop shaped loop shape with distal ends that are spaced apart. The spring may be disposed within a first and/or second movable member such as an eject button or a pivot member. A retarding structure on the spring provides a retarding force which is based on the interaction of the retarding structure with a protrusion on an assembly portion to keep the spring orientation intact. The spring is desirably comprised of stainless steel and is a flat wire.

RAZOR HANDLE WITH A PIVOTING PORTION

A handle. The handle can include a main body and a pivoting head pivotally coupled with the main body about a pivot axis. The pivoting head can have a substantially trapezoidal prism shape and can include a base member and a cover member that overlies the base member in a mating relationship. The cover member can have a face defining at least one exterior opening and the pivoting head can have an interior compartment comprising an electrical component.

RAZOR HANDLE WITH A PIVOTING PORTION

A handle. The handle can include a main body and a first substantially flat metal arm having a first proximal portion and a first distal end, the first proximal portion being rigidly coupled to the main body at a first location, and a second arm having a second proximal portion and a second distal end, the second proximal portion being rigidly coupled to the main body at a second location. The first and second distal ends can be in spaced relationship and have pivotally coupled therebetween a pivoting head.

RAZOR HANDLE WITH A PIVOTING PORTION

A handle. The handle can include a main body weighing greater than about 60 grams, the main body comprising a main frame and a secondary frame overlying the main frame. A first arm having a first proximal portion and a first distal end can have the first proximal portion coupled to the main body at a first location. A second arm having a second proximal portion and a second distal end can have the second proximal portion coupled to the main body at a second location. The first and second distal ends can be in spaced relationship and have pivotally coupled therebetween a pivoting head.

RAZOR HANDLE WITH A PIVOTING PORTION

A handle. The handle can have a main body and a first substantially flat arm having a first distal end and a first proximal end defining a first arm opening can be coupled to a first location of the main body. A second substantially flat arm having a second distal end and a second proximal end defining a second arm opening, can be coupled to a second location of the main body. The first and second distal ends can be in spaced relationship and have pivotally coupled therebetween a pivoting head having a trapezoidal prism shape.

RAZOR HANDLE WITH A PIVOTING PORTION

A handle. The handle can have a main body and a pivoting head pivotally coupled with the main body about a pivot axis. The pivoting head can have a substantially trapezoidal prism shape and include a base member and a cover member that overlies the base member in a mating relationship. The cover member can include a face defining at least one exterior opening and the pivoting head can have an interior compartment in fluid communication with the main body and the exterior opening.

RAZOR HANDLE WITH MOVABLE MEMBERS

A handle for a shaving razor in which the handle comprises a frame and a movable member assembly operably coupled to the frame such that the frame is disposed between the movable member assembly and where the movable member assembly upper and lower portions are configured to move both above and below the frame. The movement can be linear or rotational. The movable member assembly comprises one or more springs.

SHAVING RAZOR SYSTEM INCLUDING SKIN INTERCONNECT MEMBER

The invention is directed toward a shaving razor system. The razor system has a handle and a razor cartridge. The handle has at least one skin interconnect member in pivotal relation to a proximal end portion of the handle. The razor cartridge has a housing, at least one blade, and at least one opening which extends through the housing. The razor cartridge is engaged with the skin interconnect member when the skin interconnect member is disposed within the opening securing the razor cartridge to the proximal end portion of the handle. The razor cartridge is in a pivotal relation with the handle, but not with the skin interconnect member. A pivot point of the razor system is desirably disposed near the front blade of the cartridge. Axes of movement in the razor system can be provided by different physical order of connections of razor components.

RAZOR HANDLE WITH MOVABLE MEMBERS

A handle for a shaving razor in which the handle comprises a frame and a movable member assembly operably coupled to the frame such that the frame is disposed between the movable member assembly and where the movable member assembly portions are configured to move both above and below the frame. The movement can be linear or rotational. The movable member assembly comprises one or more springs. The first member and the second member are coupled together through said rigid member. The rigid member can include a rigid member platform which has a width to thickness ratio from about 7 to about 60.
