Shaving device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.
Razor docking and pivot
A shaving razor system includes a razor handle that docks with a razor cartridge. The handle is configured to dock with the razor cartridge using a single hook configured to mate with a cartridge tab. A central pushrod is mounted with a spring into the handle, and is configured to exert a pushing force on the mounted cartridge. To eject the cartridge, the single hook may be pushed to pivot to the side of the cartridge tab, and thereby release the cartridge by ejecting it with a spring loaded pushrod.
Razor handle with a rigid member
A handle for a shaving razor in which the handle comprises a frame and a movable member assembly operably coupled to the frame such that the frame is disposed between the movable member assembly and where the movable member assembly portions are configured to move both above and below the frame. The movement can be linear or rotational. The movable member assembly comprises one or more springs. The first member and the second member are coupled together through said rigid member. The rigid member can include a rigid member platform which has a width to thickness ratio from about 7 to about 60.
SHAVING CARTRIDGES HAVING THERMAL SENSORS
A shaving razor cartridge having a housing with a guard, a cap, and one or more blades located between the guard and the cap. The guard is positioned in front of the one or more blades and the cap is positioned behind said one or more blades. A heating element is mounted to the housing for transferring heat during a shaving stroke. The heating element has a skin contacting surface. An insulating member is positioned beneath the skin contacting surface for delivering heat to the heating element. An electrical circuit is configured to deliver energy to the insulating member. The electrical circuit includes a control circuit for temperature regulation. A power source in communication with the electrical circuit. A plurality of spaced apart thermal sensors are mounted to the insulating member and positioned below the skin contacting surface. The thermal sensors measure the temperature of the heating element and are in communication with the control circuit.
Razor cartridge
A shaving razor system includes a razor handle that docks with a razor cartridge. The handle is configured to dock with the razor cartridge using a single hook configured to mate with a cartridge tab. A central pushrod is mounted with a spring into the handle and is configured to exert a pushing force on the mounted cartridge. To eject the cartridge, the single hook may be pushed to pivot to the side of the cartridge tab, and thereby release the razor cartridge by ejecting it with the spring loaded pushrod.
Shaving Device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly having a support member and a blade cartridge. The support member is configured to be detachably coupled to a handle. The blade cartridge has a first and a second face wherein at least one of the first or second faces comprises at least one razor blade. The blade cartridge is configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis such that the blade cartridge is pivotable by a user to select one of the first or second faces.
