Shaving cartridges having thermal sensors
A shaving razor system with a heating element for transferring heat during a shaving stroke. The heating element has a skin contacting surface. An insulating member for delivering heat to the heating element has a plurality of spaced apart thermal sensors are mounted to the insulating member and positioned below the skin contacting surface. An electrical circuit is configured to deliver energy to the insulating member. The electrical circuit has a control circuit for temperature regulation. A power source is in communication with the electrical circuit. The thermal sensors measure the temperature of the heating element and are in communication with the control circuit.
Adjustably positionable razor assembly
An adjustably positionable razor assembly includes a body. A handle is movably coupled to a top of the body. An articulating member is rotatably coupled to a bottom of the body. A head is pivotally coupled to a bottom of the articulating member. A blade cartridge is coupled to the head.
Shaving device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.
Razor and razor treatment system
A razor treatment system includes a razor having a head, and a razor treatment device including a drum rotationally supported within the razor treatment device, at least two cam members supported within the razor treatment device, at least two guide members configured to cooperate with the cam members to expose the blade, and a first actuating member configured to effect rotation of the drum. The head includes a cover for housing a blade. The cover is configured to expose the blade. The razor interfaces with the razor treatment device to move the cover of the razor to expose the blade. Each cam member may define a cam track that guides linear retraction of the blade, rotational movement of the blade and cover, and linear extension of the blade into a position between the drums.
Shaving Unit with Blade Cleaning Apparatus
A shaving unit that includes a blade assembly, a handle assembly, and a push rod. The blade assembly includes a housing portion and two blades attached to interior walls of the housing portion. The blades being latitudinally aligned, longitudinally displaced, and having a spatial separation between the two blades. The handle assembly is attached to the housing portion of the blade assembly and includes an internal cavity. The shaving unit further includes a push rod positioned within the internal cavity of the handle assembly. The push rod includes a blunted end directly in contact with one of the two razor blades and an actuator button on an opposite end. The push rod is capable of being moved forward and backwards when actuated in either direction and when actuated in the forward direction causes the blade directly in contact with to increase the spacial separation between blades.
Shaving razor with one or more reciprocating blades
A shaving razor having a handle and a shaving head with an exposed reciprocating blade. A power source is disposed within the handle with an actuator that causes at least one blade of a multi-blade razor head to reciprocate within a zone of motion. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
Replaceable fluid dispensing cartridge
A replaceable fluid dispensing cartridge for a liquid dispensing razor having a fluid interconnect member with a pivotable support member and a base member with a fluid port and an engagement surface for removably and fixedly mating to a corresponding engagement member of a handle. A cartridge housing is mounted to the pivotable support member. The cartridge housing has a guard, a cap, and at least one blade between the cap and the guard. A fluid applicator defining an opening is fixedly joined to the interconnect member.
SHAVER
A shaver is proposed. The shaver may include a handle for gripping by a user, a power generation unit, attached to the handle, for generating rotational power, and a power transmission unit which rotates by means of the rotational power. The shaver may also include a cartridge comprising a blade housing in which one or more blades are seated, and a power reception unit, on one surface of the cartridge so as to allow contact with the power transmission unit, for moving the blade housing linearly in accordance with the rotation of the power transmission unit. The cartridge may be coupled to the handle so as to allow pivoting around the pivot axis which is perpendicular to the rotational axis of the rotational power generated by the power generation unit, and the pivot axis may be established so as to penetrate the power transmission unit.
Shaving systems and methods
A shaver, comprising a handle body, a cartridge coupled to the handle body, the cartridge including a skin care treatment head, a transducer configured to generate electrical energy from mechanical energy, thermal energy, sound or acoustic waves, magnetic field and/or radiofrequency energy; and a battery configured to receive electrical energy generated by the transducer.
