Razor assembly
One or more implementation disclosed herein provides razor assemblies that allow a user to have a less than smooth shave by changing the distance between razor blades and a razor blade guard. The distance between the razor blade(s) and the guard may be increased or decreased using a movable knob mechanism, a rotatable dial mechanism, a movable razor assembly and housing mechanism, a rotatable threaded handle, one or more slider mechanisms, a rotating blade mechanism, etc.
Razor assembly for razor with induction heating system
Provided is a razor assembly including a cartridge including at least one blade and a handle assembly including an electric power source, a printed circuit board (PCB) electrically coupled to the electric power source, and at least one induction coil coupled to the PCB, wherein the at least one induction coil is configured to cause at least a portion of the cartridge to be heated in a non-contact manner, wherein the cartridge is detachably coupled to the handle assembly.
Shaving device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.
RECIPROCATING RAZOR ASSEMBLY WITH DIFFERENT AMPLITUDES OF MOTION
A shaving razor having independent blade assemblies coupled to substantially rigid linkages. The linkages each defining a pivot point that permits reciprocating motion of the blade assemblies where assemblies on opposite sides of the pivot point reciprocate in opposite directions. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
Adjustable body shaver, system and method
The present application is directed to a hand held wet body shaver. The body shaver includes a razor assembly with one or more cutting edges. The razor assembly is adjustable amongst a plurality of fixed settings, each setting dictating the usable length of the one or more cutting edges. The razor assembly is operationally configured maintain a desired alignment amongst its component parts at each fixed setting. The razor assembly is effective for shaving and trimming hair to various desired lengths.
SHAVING DEVICE COMPRISING AN AUTOTIGHTENING SPRING DEVICE FOR ASSEMBLING A REMOVABLE CARTRIDGE WITH AN HANDLE
A shaving device comprising a handle and a removable cartridge, the handle comprising a gripping portion extending along an axis and a first coupling portion arranged at an axial end of the gripping portion, the removable cartridge comprising a shaving head and a second coupling portion, the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion being configured to be removably coupled together for assembling the removable cartridge with the handle, a first element among the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion comprising an auto-tightening spring device configured to lock a second element among the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion with the first element when the second coupling portion is moved axially toward the gripping portion and cooperates with the first coupling portion.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE CONNECTION AND HANDLE
A connector for a razor handle having first and second arms, each arm comprising a fixed end, a terminal end where the terminal end has a razor cartridge engagement member movable from a capture position to a release position, a first surface and an opposed second surface. An activator having an activation element acts on each arm for moving the arms toward each other into the release position when the activator is activated, and a biasing member that acts on each arm for biasing the arms outwardly into the capture position. The activation element acts on the arms between the fixed end and the terminal end on the first surface of the arms and the biasing member acts on the arms between the fixed end and the terminal end on the second surface of the arms.
Also, a handle having the connecter and a method of making the razor handle.
Hair shaving device
A device including a razor hosting portion having a combination of one or more blades operable for removing unwanted hair; an elongated handle configured to be operable for increasing a reach of a user; a camera implement configured to capture an area serviced by the razor hosting portion; a lighting piece implement configured to illuminate the area serviced by the razor hosting portion; a first gripping area with a grip enhancing texture material; a swivel head section including a swivel head with a spherical portion configured to allow the razor hosting portion to move and contour in multiple directions; a support bracket configured to surround the swivel head spherical portion; and a support arm implement extending from an end portion of the handle implement, wherein the support arm implement is configured to engage the swivel head implement.
