Spacer for razor blade for creating and maintaining a stubble shave appearance
A razor blade assembly that is capable of creating a stubble-like appearance via a manual, low-cost razor. The assembly includes a spacer that maintains a gap or clearance between a blade edge and a surface to be shaved. This gap or clearance facilitates an effect of a shadow- or stubble-like appearance upon the surface.
SPACER FOR RAZOR BLADE WITH VIBRATION
A razor blade assembly with a vibration feature includes a head having a blade assembly having one or more cutting blades connected to a handle. The head has a spacer to space the cutting blades from a user's skin and to create and maintain a 5 o'clock shadow beard or a stubble beard. The handle houses a vibration mechanism which is operated by a motor to cause vibration of at least one of the head and the handle.

RAZOR WITH INTERMITTENT ENCAPSULATION OF EMBEDDED BLADES
A razor assembly includes a cartridge assembly with a plurality of raised ridges that slide against the surface of a user's skin and offset a distance relative to the surface of the user's skin at which one or more blades cut hair.

A PROTECTOR FOR A RAZOR CARTRIDGE, A SHAVING ASSEMBLY, A WET SHAVING RAZOR, A METHOD OF USING SUCH A WET SHAVING RAZOR AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SUCH A PROTECTOR
A protector for a razor cartridge is provided. The protector includes a housing extending longitudinally along a longitudinal axis and having a front face and a rear face. The protector further is provided with a first comb disposed on the front face and a second comb opposite the first comb. The protector also includes a first trimming blade has a first cutting edge and a second trimming blade opposite the first trimming blade has a second cutting edge. The first comb and the second comb have several teeth projecting along an axis that is oblique to the longitudinal axis defining a trimming length. The trimming length is adjustable. The teeth of the first comb protrude forwardly with respect to the first cutting edge and the teeth of the second comb protrude forwardly with respect to the second cutting edge.

Wet-shave razor guard
A guard is provided to fit over a blade-retaining portion of a razor configured for wet shaving. The guard may comprise a frame defined by top and bottom rails, vertically spaced by first and second side edges and a plurality of elongated members defining a grate. Means for compressibly securing the guard over the blade-retaining portion of a razor chosen from a disposable and cartridge-type razor are disposed along the length of at least one of the top and bottom rails. When disposed over the blade retaining portion, the grate portion of the guard spaces any blades retained in the razor from the surface of a user's skin while still leaving such blades at least partially exposed to the user's facial or body hair. This enables a user to trim, rather than fully shave, his hair and further protects the user's skin from the harmful effects of close shaving.
