Adapter for a handle and a cartridge of different razor systems
An adapter for coupling each of a razor handle and a razor cartridge together is provided. The adapter includes a cartridge engaging portion and a handle engaging portion. The handle engaging portion comprises at least one wall that defines a receptacle for receiving a razor handle and at least one handle protrusion extending from the at least one wall and configured to engage a central recess of a razor handle. The cartridge engaging portion is coupled with the handle engaging portion. The cartridge engaging portion comprises a stem that defines a first recess and a second recess for selectively engaging a first cartridge protrusion and a second cartridge protrusion and a tongue member slidably coupled with the stem and configured to contact a cartridge.
Adjustable Angle Razor
A safety razor comprising a handle and a blade unit having at least one blade, the handle has a handle axis, the blade unit is connected to the handle, the blade unit having at least one blade being substantially non-perpendicular to the handle axis. A safety razor comprising a handle and a blade unit having at least one blade, the handle has a handle axis, the blade unit is connected to the handle for a pivotal movement relative thereto about a perpendicular pivot axis substantially perpendicular to the handle axes, the blade unit with at least one blade can pivot into one or more substantially fixed axes substantially non-perpendicular to handle axis.
Press and methods for cutting and folding a safety razor to form a 2-blade system for a razor head, and assembly
A shaving head that doubles as breaking mechanism to break a safety razor blade into two pieces to form a 2-blade shaving razor. The shaving head includes a front component having a retention guide, a first position stop and a second position stop at a distance offset from the first position stop. The shaving head further includes a back component having a blade slot configured to receive a first blade portion and a second blade portion formed from breaking a double-edge safety razor blade such that the first blade portion has a different width compared to the second blade portion. The retention guide is configured to retain the first blade portion and the second blade portion in the blade slot responsive to the retention guide being at least partially inserted into the blade slot. The sharp shaving edges once installed form a shaving angle between 5 and 30 degrees, where the shaving angle is determined by where the blade is broken.
HANDLE WITH AN EJECTOR FOR A WET RAZOR
The invention relates to a handle for a wet razor including a handle section as well as a coupling section for detachably attaching a cutting unit to the handle. The coupling section comprises a housing section including a housing cavity, which has an insertion opening at the end directed toward the cutting unit and an operating opening. The coupling section furthermore comprises a connector including fastening elements, which engage in the housing section, and including a peg, which protrudes beyond the plane of the insertion opening. The coupling section furthermore comprises an ejector, which is inserted into the housing cavity so as to be axially displaceable, including a spring element, which axially urges the ejector into the housing cavity, and a ram, which during axial displacement of the ejector in the direction toward the cutting unit extends beyond the plane of the insertion opening. Finally, the coupling section comprises an operating button, which passes through the operating opening and acts on the ejector so as to enable the axial displacement thereof.
Shaving device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.
SHAVING RAZOR CONTAINER
A shaving razor container with a top surface defining an upper opening. The top surface has a first pair of inner side walls defining a slot. A bottom surface of the shaving razor container defines a lower opening in communication with the upper opening. A side surface of the shaving razor container extends between the top surface and the bottom surface. A first projection extends from the bottom surface toward the top surface. The slot and the projection are configured to engage a shaving razor handle.
RAZOR
A razor apparatus including a head having at least one blade member on each of a first and a second opposed side of the head. Each blade member has a straight front cutting edge. The head includes a frame defining an opening through which the cutting edges are accessible. The frame also includes a rotatable mounting element for attachment of the head to a handle. The head is rotatable around a longitudinal axis of the handle at least 180° when the rotatable mounting element is activated.
COUPLING MECHANISM
A coupling mechanism 10 comprising a first coupling element 20 having a first engagement surface 34 configured to pivot about a pivot axis located external to the coupling mechanism, a second coupling element 40 including a second engagement surface 52 configured to come into contact with the one or more first engagement surface, the second coupling element being capable of moving from a first position to a second position and from the second position to the first position, a third coupling element 60 configured to support the first coupling element and the second coupling element, a stop 58 positioned inwardly of the first coupling element configured to impede pivoting of the first coupling element. The stop impedes pivoting of the first coupling element when the second coupling element is in the first position and the stop no longer impedes movement of the first coupling element when the second coupling element is in the second position.
Dual sided razor
One embodiment of a dual sided razor comprises a handle and a cartridge attached to the handle, the cartridge further comprising a first shaving side and a second shaving side, the cartridge being switchable relative to the handle between the first and second shaving sides.
