RAZOR BLADE
A razor blade including a substrate with a cutting edge portion ending in a sharpened tip. The substrate having a thickness of between 1.55 and 1.97 micrometers measured at a distance of five micrometers from the tip, a thickness of between 4.6 and 6.34 micrometers measured at a distance of twenty micrometers from the tip, and a thickness of between 19.8 and 27.12 micrometers measured at a distance of one hundred micrometers from the tip.

BENT BLADE WITH IMPROVED RIGIDITY
The present disclosure relates to a method of forming a razor blade and a razor blade. The razor blade extends along a longitudinal axis and comprises a cutting edge portion positioned along a second plane, a base portion positioned along a first plane that is different from the second plane, the first plane intersects the second plane at an angle. The razor blade further comprises a bent portion intermediate to the cutting edge portion and base portion, and an extended portion extending from the base portion away from the second plane. The cutting edge portion, base portion, bent portion, and extended portion are monolithically formed.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A razor cartridge comprising three or more substantially parallel cutting members disposed between a leading longitudinal side and a trailing longitudinal side of the razor cartridge in a shaving direction of the razor cartridge. Each of the cutting members comprises a blade support comprising a blade mounting portion disposed on an inner surface of the respective blade support that, in use, faces away from a shaving plane, and a blade attached to the blade mounting portion. The cutting members are disposed to define a plurality of inter-blade spans between cutting edges of the blades. A leading inter-blade span that is closer to the leading longitudinal side of the razor cartridge than a trailing inter-blade span is different to the trailing inter-blade span that is closer to the trailing longitudinal side of the razor cartridge than the leading inter-blade span.
Razor blade with bent portion and razor cartridge using the same
An integral razor blade which is thin and has improved strength by shaping a geometrical structure of the razor blade and a razor cartridge using the same. The razor blade includes a base portion, a bent portion extending in a bent manner from one end of the base portion, and an edge portion extending from one end of the bent portion, a cutting edge being formed at one end of the edge portion. A first separation distance X between a straight line extending in a longitudinal direction from a front surface of the base portion and an end point of the cutting edge ranges from 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm.

SHAVING HEAD WITH INCREASED INTER BLADE SPAN
A razor cartridge comprises a first blade support and a second blade support. Each of the first and second blade supports include a flat portion having an inner surface which faces away from a shaving surface S. A first blade is attached to the inner surface of the flat portion of the first blade support, the first blade includes a first cutting edge. A second blade attached to the inner surface of the flat portion of the second blade support, the second blade includes a second cutting edge. A distance between the first and second cutting edges is within a range of 1.6 mm to 2.2 mm.
Razor blade
A razor blade having a substrate with a cutting edge being defined by a sharpened tip is provided where the substrate is comprised of a molybdenum (Mo) content of about 1.6% to about 5% by weight of composition and thicknesses of 1.60-1.75 μm and 9.25-10.00 μm measured at a distance of 4 and 40 μm from the blade tip, respectively. This thickness ratio is between 0.165-0.185. The substrate thickness is about 2.70-3.00 μm at 8 μm from the blade tip, about 4.44-5.00 μm at 16 μm from the blade tip with a thickness ratio measured at 4 μm and 8 μm between 0.56-0.62, and a thickness ratio measured at 4 μm and 16 μm between 0.32-0.40. The edge shape may be defined by equation w=ad.sup.n with “a” between 0.50-0.62 and “n” between 0.76-0.80. A semi-included angle less than 7° is measured at a distance of 40 μm or greater from the blade tip. This substrate will have substantially no cracks.
