A multi-purpose tool or apparatus includes multiple mechanical tools. In one implementation, the multi-purpose tool includes an elongated handle, a folding axe, and a folding shovel or spade, as well as a hammer or hammer-head. The folding axe is foldable between an open position and a closed position. The folding shovel is foldable among three positions, which are a closed shovel position, a 90-degree open shovel position, and a 180-degree extended shovel position. The elongated handle is hollow and includes an elongated cavity. A folding saw, as well as a knife and a sheath to protect the knife, are stored within the elongated cavity and can be removed therefrom.

The first and the second absorbent modules are moisturized with a sanitizing agent and each of the absorbent modules comprises a sanitizing agent supply surface. A food cutter apparatus with a blade portion and a handle portion. The blade portion is comprised of a single rigid material. The handle portion can be comprised of the same rigid material as the blade portion or a separate rigid material. The handle portion of the food cutter apparatus is located on top of the blade portion. A grater, slicer, or other kitchen tool elements are provided integral to the blade portion. A blade cover is provided to shield the user from the blade cutting edge while utilizing the kitchen tool elements. Embodiments of an outdoor cooking kit and method of assembling the outdoor cooking kit are provided. The outdoor cooking kit includes a case, a flexible mat, one or more utensils, and a seasoning container. The case extends between first and second end portions with one or more extensions therebetween. The flexible mat may be manually moved to a rolled position to form an elongated rolled structure extending between first and second ends. The one or more utensils may be positioned within the rolled structure of the flexible mat, and the seasoning container may be positioned within the second end portion of the case. With this arrangement, the first and second ends of the rolled structure are positioned between the first and second end portions of the case and maintained with the one or more extensions being in a taut position.

A knife cover and handle assembly includes a cover having a housing with a retaining area that couples to a handle of a knife. The cover is configured to prevent movement of the blade or handle of a knife within the housing of the cover, without using foam that could dull the blade. The cover can be replaceable, disposable, and/or reusable. The knife cover and handle assembly reduces manufacturing time and cost, and environmental impact.
