Case for Portable Devices which Holds Removable Tools
People carry electronic devices on their person which have cases to protect electronic devices from falls. People also carry a variety of tools on their persons. Existing cases rarely have integrated tools and when they do the utility of the case and the tool are both reduced. The present invention is a protective case for electronic devices which securely stores tools inside the case. The tools are fully removable from the case. The tools are retained in the case by geometric interference between the tool and the case.
Knife and Sheath with Retention System
A knife and sheath system includes a knife with a protrusion on its blade and a sheath having a blade guard with a pocket for the knife blade and a protrusion that extends in to its pocket and cooperates with the knife's protrusion. Additionally, a resilient action is positioned on the blade guard across from the protrusion and attaches to the blade guard at one end. When removing or inserting the knife, the action temporarily displaces, returning to its original shape once the knife is fully seated in the sheath or entirely removed. When fully seated in the sheath, the action locks the knife in place by applying force on the knife in the direction of the sheath protrusion. The sheath optionally also includes sheath supports on opposing sides so that a user can attach the sheath to his gear on either his left or right side.
WEARABLE ACCESSORY ATTACHMENT DEVICE
A wearable accessory attachment device, including a main body having a portion thereof capable of bring threaded through a belt loop of a knife case, a first strap connected to a first end of the main body, the first strap comprising first connectable end portions, and a second strap connected to a second end of the main body, the second strap second comprising connectable end portions.
Electric knife
An electric knife including a knife body, forming a handle housing an electric motor, and a blade holder, received in the handle, carrying a blade and maneuvered by the motor via a device for transforming rotary movement of the motor into alternating movement of the blade holder. The knife body includes a fixed shaft perpendicular to the blade on which the blade holder is mounted and which is positioned so that the blade holder is moved in rotation and to-and-fro relative to the fixed shaft by the motor to impart an oscillatory movement to the blade.
KNIFE WITH REMOVABLE HANDLE SCALES
This disclosure describes a knife having tool-less removable scales. The knife includes a blade having a cutting edge and a tang having one or more apertures formed therein; a first scale removably coupled to a second scale, the first and second scales releasably coupled to each other through the one or more apertures and positioned on either side of the tang, the first scale comprising a scale release actuator that is biased at least partially through an opening in the second scale such that the second and first scales are locked together until the scale release actuator is depressed. The disclosure also describes a knife sheath with a rotatable clip that can be rotated by releasing two halves of a compression bracket, moving a first half of the compression bracket away from the sheath, and rotating the clip once a toothed engagement is disengaged.
Knife and method
A knife for holding a blade having a bottom with a hole and a cutting tip which extends from the bottom includes a body having a rest zone for the bottom of the blade to be disposed in the body, and a mouth at a front end of the body which receives the bottom of the blade. The mouth guides the bottom of the blade to the rest zone. The body includes a recess in communication with the rest zone. The knife includes a lock disposed in the recess for securely holding the blade. The lock has a base which is fixedly attached inside the body. When in a locked state, the lock end is disposed in the hole in the bottom of the blade which holds the blade in place and the blade is unable to move from the rest zone. When in an unlocked state, the lock end separate and apart from the hole in the bottom of the blade so the blade can be moved from the rest zone. The lock having a move disposed between the lock end and the base. When a force is applied to the move, the move moves the lock end between the unlocked state and the locked state. Alternatively, there is a jaw with the lock end for the blade. A method for positioning a blade relative to a knife.
Sheath and knife separation control structure
A sheath and knife separation control structure includes a sheath formed of a first sheath shell and a second sheath shell and including a knife blade accommodation chamber and a stop block, a knife having a knife blade accommodated in the knife blade accommodation chamber and a stop portion stoppable by the stop block, and a clamping control unit including a clamp pivotally connected to the sheath and a first clamping portion and a second clamping portion adapted for clamping the first sheath shell and second sheath shell of the sheath such that the stop block of the sheath is stopped against the stop portion to lock the knife to the sheath. The stop portion is movable to push away the stop block for allowing separation of the knife from the sheath when the clamping control unit is unclamped from the sheath.
Cutting device
A cutting device is disclosed. The cutting device has a housing and a carriage that is movably disposed in the housing, the carriage being movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The cutting device also has a cutting member that is removably disposable in the carriage, a cover member that is removably attachable to the housing, and an urging member that operably connects the carriage and the housing. The housing includes a locking member. When the carriage is in the extended position and the cover member is attached to the housing, the locking member locks the cover member to the housing. The urging member urges the carriage to move from the extended position toward the retracted position.
SEMICONDUCTOR MEMORY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
According to one embodiment, the stacked body includes a plurality of stacked units and a first intermediate layer. Each of the stacked units includes a plurality of electrode layers and a plurality of insulating layers. Each of the insulating layers is provided between the electrode layers. The first intermediate layer is provided between the stacked units. The first intermediate layer is made of a material different from the electrode layers and the insulating layers. The plurality of columnar portions includes a channel body extending in a stacking direction of the stacked body to pierce the stacked body, and a charge storage film provided between the channel body and the electrode layers.
Flat multiple tool
A multiple tool includes a flat assembly having at least a first flat handle portion and a second flat handle portion and at least one removable tool bit. The first and second flat handle portions both present first corresponding engageable features which are able to be interconnected at least indirectly in a flat relationship to at least partially assemble the flat assembly. The first engageable features may also be disconnected so that the first and second flat handle portions are able to be separated. The separated first and second flat handle portions each present second corresponding connectable features which are able to be interconnected with each other in order to assemble a non-flat handle assembly. The non-flat handle assembly also presents at least one tool bit recess which is suitable for receiving the at least one tool bit thereby providing a tool which includes a handle and a tool bit.
