FOODSTUFF COMMINUTION SYSTEM
20200331160 · 2020-10-22 ·

The invention relates to a foodstuff comminution system having a foodstuff comminution device having a main part which has a receptacle for a cutter part, and having an activation part which is connected in an articulated manner to the main part and which for squeezing foodstuff material to be comminuted through a cutter part inserted in the receptacle is pivotable from a placing position towards the cutter part to a closing position and subsequently from the closing position back to the placing position. The foodstuff comminution system is distinguished by an additional comminution tool which is capable of being secured in an operating position on the foodstuff comminution device and which has a fastening portion as well as a tool portion, wherein the fastening portion in the operating position is jammed in a form-fitting manner between the main part and the activation part and wherein the tool portion in the operating position is disposed outside the receptacle.

APPARATUSES FOR CUTTING FOOD PRODUCTS AND METHODS FOR OPERATING THE SAME

Methods and apparatuses for cutting food products. The apparatus includes an annular-shaped cutting head having at least a first mounting frame surrounding a central axis of the cutting head and a plurality of cutting tools arranged around the central axis of the cutting head and pivotably coupled to the first mounting frame such that each cutting tool has a pivot axis. The method includes deflecting each cutting tool about its pivot axis by engaging first portions of the cutting tools in proximity to the first mounting frame to deflect the first portions a first radial deflection distance relative to the central axis and engaging second portions of the cutting tools to deflect the second portions a second radial deflection distance relative to the central axis. The first and second radial deflection distances can be adjusted individually or in unison.

Method of installing a heat tube on pre-insulated piping

A method is shown for installing a heat tube on a section of pre-insulated piping. A metal carrier pipe is covered with a first layer of foam insulation. Next, a routing device is used to cut a longitudinal slot along the length of the pipe so that the pipe exterior surface is exposed from the insulation. A heat tube is then installed within the longitudinal slot, whereby the heat tube contacts the exterior surface of the metal carrier pipe. A second layer of foam insulation is then sprayed onto the exterior of the metal carrier pipe, covering the previously formed longitudinal slot and installed heat tube. A polyolefin coating is then applied over the insulation to form a protective outer jacket for the insulated pipe.
