Tablet splitting apparatus
A tablet splitting apparatus includes a guide, a catcher, and a splitting mechanism. The splitting mechanism comprises a pair of blades and a pair of blade shifters. The guide, the catcher, and the splitting mechanism are accommodated in a housing. The housing includes an opening and a support. The support and the guide each include a sliding portion. The guide disposed at the supporting position is slid along the sliding portion of the support so as to be detachable from the supporting position through the opening. The blades and the blade shifters each comprise a sliding portion. The blades and the blade shifters are in a slidable contact with each other at the sliding portions. The blades attached to the respective predetermined positions of the blade shifters are slid along the sliding portions of the blade shifters so as to be detachable from the blade shifters through the opening.

The present invention relates to a cutting bite and a cutting apparatus including the same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a cutting bite is provided to sequentially pass through an upper end portion, a central portion, and a lower end portion of stacked films in a thickness direction of the stacked films when a rotating wheel rotates, and is provided such that cutting is performed in a manner in which a cutting direction of a cutting tip is a direction from an outside toward an inside of the stacked films while the cutting bite passes through the upper end portion toward the lower end portion.

A cutting device for a cutting head includes a disc, a plurality of cutting elements secured to the disc, and a plurality of wear elements secured to the disc. The disc rotates about an axis of rotation, and the disc includes a peripheral edge. The cutting elements are spaced apart from one another along the peripheral edge of the disc. The knife edge (12) of the severing knife (2, 2) has a cutting edge (20, 20) which is at least portion-wise concavely curved in the longitudinal direction of the severing knife.

The invention relates to a system and process for producing a spiral food product on a skewer, such as twister potato. The system thereto comprising a clamping element for clamping the food product, a guiding structure for guiding a skewer towards the centre region of the clamped food product, a pusher for pushing the skewer away from the guiding structure such that the skewer pierces the food product and a rotatable knife for cutting the food product in a spiral manner.
DESTEMMING DEVICES AND METHODS
A destemming device includes a housing, a motor, and a belt system configured to fit within the housing. The housing includes at least one cutting aperture. The cutting aperture is formed from a plurality of cutting fingers that have a cutting edge. When a plant stem is pressed or fed into the device, the cutting fingers create a cutting aperture that is sized to conform closely to the plant stem.

A mat board is provided and is formed of a body having outer peripheral edges and an inner window formed therein. The inner window is defined by a sloped side wall that extends peripherally around the inner window and extends from a top surface of the body to a bottom surface of the body. The sloped side wall has an exposed convex surface, wherein corners of the inner window have curvature in that the top surface of the body in each corner is curved.

The rotating shaped blade for cutting slides from a product strand is only configured over a portion of its outer edge as a circular segment that extends about the rotation axis and which represents the cutting edge so that on the one hand side the cutting edge has a constant width radial distance from a circular segment shaped functional edge of the stop plate over an entire extension of the circular segment, and on the other hand side immediately after releasing the strand cross section by the blade a forward movement of the product strand can be performed up to the stop plate until the radial front edge of the blade has reached the strand cross section again.

The present invention relates to a method for cutting a food product, in particular a food product strand, into portions, in particular into strips or cubes, comprising the following method steps: a) The food product is advanced to a cutting device (2) by means of an advancing device (12). b) Successive portions are cut off from the food product from an end of the food product which faces the cutting device (2) by means of at least one cutting element (3), wherein the cutting element (3) is guided by means of a disc-shaped cutting element carrier (4), on which the cutting element (3) is arranged, wherein the cutting element carrier (4) is rotated about a drive axis (10) which is oriented at least substantially parallel to an advancing direction (7) of the advancing device (12). c) During one-time guiding of the cutting element (3) past the end of the food product, a multiplicity of strip-shaped portions are produced. In order to provide a method, by means of which it is possible to produce cube-shaped portions in a particularly rapid manner, according to the invention the portions which are being produced are cut to size by means of at least one length cutting device (5) after the cutting by means of the at least one cutting element (3). The present invention further relates to a corresponding device.

One mode of the invention relates to a producing device for chopped fiber bundles comprising: cutting means including a cutting blade for cutting long fiber bundles, guide means for restricting the travel direction of the fiber bundles to be supplied to the cutting means, and widening means provided between the cutting means and the guide means and for widening the fiber bundles; and a producing method for chopped fiber bundles comprising: widening fiber bundles by widening means provided between a cutting means and guide means while restricting the travel direction of the long fiber bundles to be supplied to the cutting means by the guide means, and obtaining chopped fiber bundles by cutting the fiber bundles with the cutting means including a cutting blade.
