Sheet Cutting Machine
When a length in a conveying direction of a margin to be cut off is shorter than a predetermined distance between a cutting part and a second conveying part, a sheet cutting machine feeds a first sheet to the cutting part using a first conveying part while keeping the second conveying part positioned at a conveying path. When the length is equal to or longer than the predetermined distance, the machine feeds the first sheet to the cutting part using the first conveying part after upwardly retracting the second conveying part from the conveying path using a retracting mechanism.

A printing method and apparatus are disclosed, in which a printed document is separated from a continuous strip of paper by a cutting device having a movable blade that can adopt a rest position, in which the blade is retracted to leave free a passage for inserting the strip in a cutting zone, and at least one cutting position, in which the blade is advanced to obstruct the passage, with sensor means that is able to indicate when the blade is in the two positions.
CUTTING APPARATUS AND CUTTING BLADE
A cutting apparatus and a cutting blade are provided that are not only capable of restraining a highly-viscous substance from bending but also capable of preventing a damage of a blade edge part. A pair of cutting blades is provided to be capable of approaching/separating movement, and the cutting blades are arranged with blade edge parts facing each other while having thickness directions oriented in the same direction. The cutting blades each have a thickness gradually increased from a blade edge leading end toward a blade root part and have the blade edge parts each offset from the counterpart blade edge part in the thickness direction of the cutting blades within a range facing a thickness-direction surface of the counterpart cutting blade, and the cutting blades each have the thickness-direction surface made of a material having a hardness lower than that of the counterpart blade edge part.

A printer has a fixed blade, a movable blade configured to be displaced relative to the fixed blade, and the movable blade has a first movable blade portion inclined from one longitudinal end toward a substantially longitudinal center in a direction opposed to the fixed blade, and a second movable blade portion, which is separated from the first movable blade portion, inclined from another longitudinal end toward the substantially longitudinal center in the direction opposed to the fixed blade. The printer has a holding member configured to rotatably hold the first and second movable blade portions so that a shearing angle formed by the fixed blade and the first or second movable blade portion is variable, and an elastic deformable member configured to urge the first and second movable blade portions in a predetermined direction and elastically deformable, depending on a magnitude of a cutting resistance.
TABLET SPLITTING APPARATUS
A tablet splitting apparatus includes a guide, a catcher, and a splitting mechanism. The splitting mechanism comprises a pair of blades and a pair of blade shifters. The guide, the catcher, and the splitting mechanism are accommodated in a housing. The housing includes an opening and a support. The support and the guide each include a sliding portion. The guide disposed at the supporting position is slid along the sliding portion of the support so as to be detachable from the supporting position through the opening. The blades and the blade shifters each comprise a sliding portion. The blades and the blade shifters are in a slidable contact with each other at the sliding portions. The blades attached to the respective predetermined positions of the blade shifters are slid along the sliding portions of the blade shifters so as to be detachable from the blade shifters through the opening.
Cutting device
A cutting device includes a cutting blade, a receiving block, a motor, a cutting blade movement mechanism, and a receiving block movement mechanism. The cutting blade includes a blade portion. The receiving block includes a contact surface including a first contact surface and a second contact surface. The motor is configured to rotate. The cutting blade movement mechanism supports the cutting blade and is configured to move the cutting blade between a separated position and a contact position in concert with a rotation of the motor. The receiving block movement mechanism is configured to move the receiving block from a first opposed position to a second opposed position in concert with the rotation of the motor.

Device for forming and dividing of at least one string-shaped pasty foodstuff into slice-shaped products, with a forming nozzle for extruding the string-shaped foodstuff along a conveying direction through a nozzle opening, which determines the thickness of the slice-shaped product, at least one forming plate that is arranged downstream of the forming nozzle and that can be displaced during extrusion with at least one positioning element in at least one component transversally to the conveying direction, and with a control unit that controls the positioning element synchronously to the extrusion velocity in a way that the at least one forming plate forms a longitudinal contour of the slice-shaped product variably during extrusion.
CUTTING MACHINE
A cutting machine includes a platform, two supporting elements, a sliding plate, a handle and a blade assembly. The supporting elements are supported on the platform. Each of the supporting elements includes a space. The sliding plate is inserted in the space of the first supporting element and includes a slot. The handle includes a pivoting plate and an axle. The pivoting plate is inserted in the space of the second supporting element, and includes a primary aperture and a secondary aperture. The axle is inserted in the primary aperture of the pivoting plate and an aperture of the second supporting element. The blade assembly includes a blade and two pins. The first pin is inserted in an aperture of the blade and movably inserted in the slot. The second pin is inserted in another aperture of the blade and the secondary aperture of the pivoting plate.
