Removable motor housing for a plant material trimming device
A removable motor housing for a plant material trimming device. The removable housing may include a first motor housing connectable to the plant trimming device. The first motor housing may be slidably or pivotably connectable to the plant trimming device. The first motor housing may be operable to receive an output shaft from a first motor in the first housing. The output shaft may be operable to communicate with an input shaft of the plant trimming device. A biasing device may be connectable to the first motor housing and the plant trimming device for biasing the first motor housing into a first position. When the first motor housing is in the first position a substantially constant force is applied between the input shaft of the plant trimming device and the output shaft of the first motor.
CUTTING DEVICE FOR CUTTING CAPSULES
Cutting device to form on a capsule for closing a container at least one connecting strap that keeps the capsule attached to the container after opening, the cutting, device comprising at least one cutting edge to make at least one cut on the capsule, the at least one cutting edge comprising a cutting start capsule inlet, a cutting end capsule outlet, and at least one transition cutting portion arranged on the capsule inlet and/or on the capsule outlet to form at least one cusp-shaped end zone, the at least one cutting portion being retracted with respect to a remaining part of the at least one cutting, edge so as to penetrate less the capsule of a remaining part of the at least one cutting edge reducing stress concentration and preventing initiation of a fracture in the at least one cusp-shaped end zone.

Method of joining strip-shaped sheets
A method of joining strip-shaped sheets includes a support step of placing a support member in contact with a reverse feed direction end of a strip-shaped sheet fed to a pressing machine and a feed direction end of a new strip-shaped sheet, and a joining step of joining the new strip-shaped sheet to the strip-shaped sheet by attaching a tape on the reverse feed direction end of the strip-shaped sheet and the feed direction end of the new strip-shaped sheet, wherein in the joining step, the tape is attached from a side opposite the support member with the support member placed in contact with the reverse feed direction end of the strip-shaped sheet and the feed direction end of the new strip-shaped sheet. The problem of the variation in welding quality encountered when welding thin and wide strip-shaped sheets together is resolved and the strip-shaped sheet is fed smoothly.

Cutting apparatus
A cutting apparatus is disclosed for separating, intermittently, receipts or tickets from a continuous strip of material, in which the strip is cut by a stationary blade when the user tensions the strip by pulling an end thereof, in which the cut margin of the strip is disengaged from the blade by virtue of an elastically movable element that has a non cutting edge extending in length next to the entire length of a cutting edge of the blade, and in which the strip tensioned during the cut pushes the non cutting edge in a recessing position with respect to the cutting edge and after cutting the non cutting edge returns elastically to a protruding position beyond the cutting edge.
Fuel Source Shaving Device and Method(s) of Use
A fuel source shaving device and method(s) of use is described. Embodiments of the fuel source shaving device can include, but is not limited to, a housing, a blade, and a bore passing through the housing. The fuel source shaving device can be implemented to create ribbons and/or shavings of material from a fuel source to aid in starting a fire.
Apparatus for diverting solid food pieces suspended in a flowing liquid
A distributor valve for a hydrocutting system. The valve automatically diverts a flow of liquid and solid food products flowing from a source to one or both of two destinations. An entry conduit receives the suspended food products in liquid, and an angled plate deflects the food products downwardly. The food products and liquid enter a drum that is perpendicular to the entry conduit, causing rotational circulation in the drum. The food products and liquid flow into one or both of two longitudinally opposite outlets, depending on whether the path downstream of the outlets is flowing. Upon actuation of a valve on one side, or essentially complete blockage of one side, the fluid and products flow to the other side automatically. No moving parts are needed in the valve to change the flow path; the only change is to the flow downstream, which automatically affects the flow in the valve.

Methods and Apparatus for Cutting Cushioned Divider Material for Use in Creating Sub-Compartments in a Container
Particular embodiments of the inventive technology relate to apparatus and methods for cutting multi-layered material to reconfigure it so it may be used to construct sub-compartments in a larger storage container. The inventive technology, in particular embodiments may feature one or more of the following: dual blades, staggered blades (where one blade is more forward than another), a blade(s) angled upwards and forwards, blades separated in a left-right direction, prong recesses to accept trailing tips of blades, a rearwardly angled handle and/or a removed material ejection ramp, in conjunction perhaps with other features such as, e.g., a guide prong. One or more of such features may appear in the various manifestations of a defluting cutter or through cutting apparatus, whether guided or unguided, and/or manual or powered.
