A tool path generating device (20) which generates a tool path (L1) for machining a hairline-shaped long narrow groove (Wa) of on a workpiece surface (W0), includes a shape data acquisition part which acquires shape data of a workpiece, a parameter setting part (23) which sets a shape parameter of a hairline corresponding to the long narrow groove (Wa), and a path generating part (24) which generates a tool path (L1) for a hairline machining, based on the shape data acquired by the data acquisition part and the shape parameter set by the parameter setting part (23).

Cutting apparatus
09925682 · 2018-03-27 · ·

A cutting apparatus includes: a first piping for communication of a suction surface with a first suction source; a branched pipe by which the first piping is branched to an upper-side outlet for passage toward the first suction source and a lower-side outlet for passage toward a second suction source; and a second piping for communication of the lower-side outlet with the second suction source. The cross-sectional area of the branched pipe is set greater than the cross-sectional area of the first piping, such that the flow velocity of a fluid upon transfer of the fluid from the first piping into the branched pipe is lowered. Liquid goes down toward the lower-side outlet of the branched pipe, whereby a gas and the liquid are separated from each other, and the gas is sucked by the first suction source, whereas the liquid is sucked by the second suction source.

OPTICAL COMPONENT ARRAY

The present disclosure provides an optical component array and method of making an optical component array that can include a plurality of optical components useful for projection devices or other optical devices. The optical component array can be fabricated such that individual optical components having several elements can be assembled in a massively parallel manner and then singulated as individual optical components, and can result in a large reduction in manufacturing cost.

Bends in composite panels

A method and apparatus for forming a bend in composite panel. A method for forming a bend in a composite panel comprises forming a slot having a curved flange in the composite panel, inserting a sheet into the curved flange, and bending the composite panel with the slot and the sheet within the curved flange about a longitudinal axis of the slot to form the bend.

Sheet groove cutter capable of operation without use of ruler

A groove cutter for floor sheets which is a tool capable of being operated without using a ruler and can cut a seam, which is created when sheets are laid sequentially on the surface of floor base with an adhesive agent, so that a groove formed along the seam can bridge over both adjacent sheets, comprising a front part, a middle part, a rear part, wherein the front part has a thin guide plate, which is to be inserted into the seam and guides the said tool along the said seam when pushing the tool forward, at the front end, and at least one blade to cut a concave groove at the seam part of the above sheet, which is provided behind the guide plate so as to be detachable, and also a stabilizing member provided at the rear part, which is to be inserted into the concave groove, to stabilize a direction of movement of the tool along the seam.

MECHANICAL LOCKING SYSTEM FOR FLOOR PANELS
20180030737 · 2018-02-01 · ·

Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system that may be locked with a vertical displacement of a first panel against a second panel. The locking system includes a flexible strip that during locking bends upwardly or downwardly. The locking system includes a first and a second joint edge section with different locking functions. One section provides a horizontal locking and another section provides a vertical locking.

Lightweight support structure, method of producing a lightweight support structure, composite sandwich panel and method of producing a composite sandwich panel

A lightweight support structure includes a composite sandwich panel having a first face sheet and a lightweight core attached to the face sheet and an essentially rotationally symmetric cut-out extending through the first face sheet and into the lightweight core. The cut-out has an essentially rotationally symmetric inner cut-out and outer cut-out arranged essentially concentric with respect to each other, providing for a support there between. The support has a core support cut from the lightweight core and a support face sheet disc on top, cut from of the first face sheet. A rotationally symmetric insert is fitted into the cut-out for load application and/or anchorage of various components into and onto the sandwich panel.

CHIP MANUFACTURING METHOD
20240424705 · 2024-12-26 ·

A chip manufacturing method for manufacturing a plurality of chips by dividing a workpiece with a plurality of intersecting streets set thereon includes a cutting step of cutting a front surface of the workpiece by a cutting blade to thereby form cut grooves along the streets, and then a grinding step of grinding a back surface on the side opposite to the front surface of the workpiece to thereby thin the workpiece to a finish thickness of reaching the cut grooves and to divide the workpiece into the plurality of chips. The cut grooves are formed such that the position of the groove bottom in the thickness direction of the workpiece varies in the width direction of the cut groove, and, in the grinding step, grinding is started from that tip of the groove bottom of the cut groove which is remote from the front surface of the workpiece.
