Tubing cutter
A cutter, such as a tubing cutter or a swing cutter. The cutter includes a cutting wheel; a roller; a housing assembly including a first housing portion supporting the cutting wheel and a second housing portion supporting the roller; a shaft connecting the housing portions, rotation of the shaft causing relative movement of the housing portions along a shaft axis; and a knob connected to the shaft and engageable by a user to rotate the shaft, the knob having, in a plane perpendicular to the shaft axis, a non-symmetrical shape defined by opposite circular sector portions and opposite lever portions, each lever portion being engageable by a user to apply a force to the knob in a direction of rotation. In a specific embodiment, the cutter includes a shaft with a radial shoulder preventing movement of the shaft from the cavity through an opening in the housing portion.
CUTTING TOOL
The present application provides a cutting tool including a grip portion and a cutting portion, wherein it further includes a blade feeding member coupled to both the cutting portion and the grip portion. The blade feeding member is configured to be actuated by an external force to achieve fast blade feeding for bringing a material to be cut into contact with both a fixed portion and a cutting edge of the cutting portion. The cutting tool provided in this application allows for fast blade feeding, which can quickly put a material to be cut into a ready-to-be-cut state where it can be cut. Therefore, significant improvements in cutting efficiency can be achieved.
Conduit cutting tools and conduit cutting tool operational methods
Conduit cutting tools and conduit cutting tool operational methods are described. According to one aspect, a conduit cutting tool includes a pivot pin, a pair of elongated members coupled with the pivot pin, and wherein the elongated members include a jaw and a handle and interior portions of the jaws include cutting blades, wherein the jaws are spaced apart from one another in an open configuration to receive a conduit and one of the elongated members is configured to move with respect to an other of the elongated members as a result of an input force to the handles, and wherein the movement of the one elongated member rotates the jaw of the one elongated member towards the jaw of the other elongated member and moves the jaw of the one elongated member in a substantially linear direction towards the jaw of the other elongated member.
Combination Gripping and Cutting Tool
A combination gripping and cutting tool for cutting pipe and gripping can lids includes a pair of handles that are rigid. Each handle comprises a grasp that is arcuate. The handles are pivotally coupled, such that the grasps are opposing. A support, which is arcuate, extends transversely from a respective grasp. A channel is positioned in the support. A blade that extends transversely from a respective grasp is complementary to and positioned through the channel. Each of a pair of cutouts is positioned in a respective grasp. The cutouts are arcuate and opposing. Each of a pair of grips is coupled to a respective cutout. The grips are configured to engage a lid of a can when the grasps are pivoted inwardly. The handles are positionable with the support separated from the blade, such that a pipe is positionable between the blade and the support for cutting.
C-TYPE TUBING CUTTER
C-type tubing cutters are described. The cutters include a cutting wheel that can be easily and quickly replaced. In many versions of the cutters, the cutting wheel can be replaced without disassembly of the housing and/or without the use of tools.
PIPE CUTTER
A pipecutter includes a housing, a motor, a rotating assembly, and a first drive assembly. The rotating assembly includes a first bracket assembly, a second bracket assembly, and a locking assembly, where the locking assembly is configured to lock or unlock a pipe and the pipecutter. The first drive assembly is driven by the motor to drive the rotating assembly to rotate. The locking assembly includes a rocker arm; when the rocker arm is at a first position, the locking assembly is in an unlocking state; and when the rocker arm is at a second position, the locking assembly is in a locking state. The pipecutter further includes a second drive assembly, the second drive assembly includes a first pushing member which is able to push the rocker arm to move from the first position to the second position.
TUBE CUTTING and INSTALLATION TOOL
A tube cutting and installation tool having two semi-circular shaped open cutting heads for cutting different sizes of tube diameter and cut-outs for assisting with the installation of the cut tubes.
Group of Manual Pliers
The invention relates to manual pliers of different types and/or geometries. According to the invention, the manual pliers have a modular design. Here, without any adaptations of the design a base module (41) can be combined with different pliers head modules (38a, 38b, 38c).
By the inventive modular design it is possible to reduce the manufacturing costs and to use a large number of same parts for manufacturing manual pliers of different types.
Manual Pliers
The invention relates to manual pliers (1) which comprise a fixed cutting jaw (26) and a movable cutting jaw (23). The manual pliers (1) comprise a first maximal opening position in which it is possible to run through a working stroke part caused by the closure of the hand levers (2). In the first maximal opening position the latching lever (16) and a pushing lever (19) engage with a toothing (32) of the movable cutting jaw (23). With the actuation of the latching lever (16) it is possible to transfer the manual pliers into a second maximal opening position in which the opening angle of the hand levers (2) is larger than in the first maximal opening position. In the second maximal opening position the latching lever (16) and the pushing lever (19) do not engage with the toothing (32) of the movable cutting jaw (23). For the definition of the two opening positions, two stops are used which are formed by the latching lever (16) and a swivel bolt of the latching lever (16).
Pipe cutting knife
The present patent application discloses a pipe cutter, comprises a left housing, a right housing, a blade, small handle, a rotary shaft and a reset mechanism; the left housing and the right housing are fixed together; the blade is rotatable located between the left housing and the right housing; the rotary shaft pass through the left housing and the blade and is fixed with the right housing; the small handle is provided with a blade feeding apparatus and a blade locking apparatus, the blade feeding apparatus is used for controlling the rotation of the blade, the blade locking apparatus is used for fixing the position of the blade; the small handle is mounted on one side of the left housing and the right housing, the small handle is hinged with the left housing and the right housing through blade locking apparatus; the blade is provided with tooth grooves and hook portion, the hook portion is mounted on the left side of the tooth grooves and adjacent to the tooth grooves 8. By cooperation of the using of the blade feeding apparatus and the blade locking apparatus, the operator can cut the plastic pipe with less effort. Meanwhile, the blade locking apparatus ensures the blade will not rebound and improves the effectiveness of pipe cutting. The blade replacement is also convenient.
