PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A MEAT ANALOGUE
Processes for the production of a meat analogue include: a) preparing a meat batter comprising protein by mixing water, raw material of meat and/or meat by-product, and optionally further ingredients, in a mixer, b) conveying the meat batter obtained in step a) by means of a first positive displacement pump to a single heating unit comprising a single scraped surface heat exchanger, c) heating the meat batter in the single heating unit to a temperature above the melting temperature of the protein to produce a heat-treated product, d) transferring the heat-treated product of step c) to a cooling unit by means of a second positive displacement pump, e) cooling the heat-treated product by moving through the cooling unit, so that the heat-treated product reaches a temperature below water boiling temperature at ambient pressure when exiting the cooling unit, and f) dividing the cooled heat-treated product into pieces.
MANUAL FOOD PROCESSOR WITH REMOVABLE CARTRIDGES
The manual food processor includes a first shelf configured to receive a blade cartridge. The first shelf includes a first slider configured to selectively retain the blade cartridge at the first shelf. The manual food processor also includes a pair of guide rails extending from the first shelf and a second shelf slidable along the pair of guide rails. The second shelf is configured to receive a pusher block cartridge and includes a second slider configured to selectively retain the pusher block cartridge at the second shelf. The manual food processor also includes a handle mechanism operable to cause the second shelf to slide along the guide rails between an open position and a closed position. The first shelf is spaced apart from the second shelf in the open position, and the pusher block cartridge interfaces with the blade cartridge in the closed position.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RESIZING ADIPOSE TISSUE FOR IMPLANTATION
A deagglomerator for use in resizing masses of cells is disclosed. The deagglomerator may include a plurality of apertures defined by a plurality of front and back edges. The masses of cells may be passed through the plurality of apertures from the front to the back, and from the back to the front, repeatedly. The deagglomerator may also include a plurality of blades that may aid in the deagglomeration of the cell masses. The deagglomerator may be configured between two syringes so that the tissue may be passed back and forth from the first syringe through the device to the second syringe, and then back again from the second syringe through the device and to the first syringe. In this way, the masses of cells may be properly deagglomerated.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REMOVING TWINE FROM A BALE
An apparatus for removing twine from a bale is described herein. The apparatus includes a frame having a mounting portion configured to releasably mount to a vehicle and two opposed arms rigidly coupled to and extending in a common direction from the mounting portion. The apparatus also includes a bale grabbing mechanism coupled to the frame and configured to releasably secure the bale against the opposed arms of the frame, a cutting mechanism movably coupled to one of the opposed arms of the frame, the cutting mechanism including a cutting element being configured to cut the twine and a twine grabbing mechanism coupled to the other opposed arm of the frame. The twine grabbing mechanism is configured to retain the twine after the twine has been cut by the cutting mechanism.

Device and method for slicing large cakes and other baked goods
A configurable cutting device for large cakes and other baked items that provides varied shapes and dimensions of cut pieces using a single cutting motion. The handles are ergonomically designed, decorative and provide control of the blades, and the ability to apply increased downward pressure for increased cutting force without direct contact with the blades. The device can be folded down and/or disassembled for easy cleaning and storage.
Onion chopper with spiralizer insert
An onion chopper includes a container having a bottom and a plurality of sidewalls extending upwardly and terminating in a rim. A lid is attached to the container at a pivot location for movement between a closed position adjacent the rim and an open position pivoted away from the rim. A tray is removably supported atop the container, and defines a central opening positioned between a forward end and a rearward end. A spiralizer insert is removably attached to the tray within the central opening, the spiralizer insert having a central spindle and a blade extending radially outward from the central spindle.
Food processing system and interchangeable actuated accessories
A food processing system includes a base and an actuator that is releasably mounted to the base. The actuator may have an unactuated position and an actuated position. Numerous accessories each may be individually and interchangeably mountable to and releasable from at least one of the base and the actuator. Each attachment may perform a food processing function when the actuator is moved from the unactuated position to the actuated position.
Onion chopper
An onion chopper includes container, a blade tray, and pivoting lid. The blade tray is removably mounted on an upper rim of the container and includes a sweeper positioned at one end of the blade tray. The sweeper is dimensioned to fit within the sidewalls forming the container to be used to clear chopped food bits from the container after they are cut by the grid of blades.
OSCILLATING BLADE FOR FOOD PROCESSOR SYSTEM
A food processing system includes a container for receiving a food item processed by said food processing system. A configuration of said processing performed by said food processing system is determined by a position of the food item as it enters said container.
