Dicing machines and methods of use

Machines and methods capable of producing diced products from a variety of materials. Such a machine includes a knife adapted to slice food product to produce slices, a circular cutter comprising knives that are adapted and arranged to cut the slices into strips, a cross-cutter comprising knives that are adapted and arranged to produce a cross-cut in the strips, and a shear plate that is at least partially between the circular cutter and the cross-cutter. The shear plate defines a first shear edge in proximity to the knives of the cross-cutter and is adapted to ensure dicing of the strips received by the cross-cutter from the circular cutter. A support bar supports the shear plate, and a feature is provide for adjusting the proximity of the first shear edge relative to the knives of the cross-cutter.

Food processor with a dicing function

Provided is a food processor with a dicing function, including a driving device and a dicing assembly; the dicing assembly includes a main body, a lid, a driving axle, an annular supporting body and a dicing knife component; and a mesh shaper is disposed on the annular supporting body; the dicing knife component is rotatably disposed on the annular supporting body and is coupling connected to the driving axle; an annular flange of the annular supporting body is extended towards the lid in direction of a central axis of the driving axle, and a limiting groove is disposed on an inner surface of the annular flange; a radial outer end of the dicing knife component is capable of sliding inside the limiting groove. The food processor with a dicing function of the present disclosure has advantages of higher limit precision for cutting, better effect for dicing, and lower noise.

Method and apparatus to mechanically reduce food products into irregular shapes and sizes

Methods and apparatus are disclosed for producing irregular slices of meat from meat products. The meat products can be rotated using an impeller having a plurality of paddles for urging the meat products against a slicing blade during rotation of the impeller in order to create a slice from the meat product. The meat products can impact the slicing blade in different orientations in order to create differently shaped, irregular slices of meat. A cutting blade downstream of the slicing blade can be used to reduce the width of the slices of meat.
