The flow inlet may be oriented to direct the cut food product tangentially into the at least one drum. The flow inlet may be oriented to direct the cut food product into the at least one drum at a right angle to a longitudinal axis of the at least one drum. The at least one drum may be a plurality of drums including a first drum having the flow inlet and a second drum having the flow outlet. The system may include a passageway providing fluid communication from the first drum to the second drum. The passageway may include a tapered section. The flow inlet may be aligned with the flow outlet.

A system for separating cut food products includes a flow inlet, a flow outlet, and at least one drum connecting the flow inlet and the flow outlet. The flow inlet may be oriented to direct the cut food product tangentially into the at least one drum. The flow inlet may be oriented to direct the cut food product into the at least one drum at a right angle to a longitudinal axis of the at least one drum. The at least one drum may be a plurality of drums including a first drum having the flow inlet and a second drum having the flow outlet. The system may include a passageway providing fluid communication from the first drum to the second drum. The passageway may include a tapered section. The flow inlet may be aligned with the flow outlet.

A culinary leaf shredder apparatus for cutting leaves such as collard greens includes a receptacle and a housing with a housing cavity. The housing has a feed slot and a dispense slot extending through to the housing cavity. A pair of rotor axles is coupled to within the housing cavity and a pair of rotors is coupled to the rotor axles. A plurality of shredder tangs is coupled to the pair of rotors. The plurality of shredder tangs intertwine beneath the feed slot to shred leaves and pass them through the dispense slot. A drive mechanism is coupled to the pair of rotors. A motor is coupled within the housing cavity and is in operational communication with the drive mechanism. A control panel is coupled to the housing and is in operational communication with the motor and a power source.

A culinary leaf shredder apparatus for cutting leaves such as collard greens includes a receptacle and a housing with a housing cavity. The housing has a feed slot and a dispense slot extending through to the housing cavity. A pair of rotor axles is coupled to within the housing cavity and a pair of rotors is coupled to the rotor axles. A plurality of shredder tangs is coupled to the pair of rotors. The plurality of shredder tangs intertwine beneath the feed slot to shred leaves and pass them through the dispense slot. A drive mechanism is coupled to the pair of rotors. A motor is coupled within the housing cavity and is in operational communication with the drive mechanism. A control panel is coupled to the housing and is in operational communication with the motor and a power source.

The tape members (16, 17) are positioned and configured in such a way that the passage (18) extends along the operating axis (A) and has an outlet opening (18a) which faces the face (12) of the cutting unit (11).

A food processing device includes a base portion with a motor housing upwardly extending from a first end of the base portion. A motor is disposed within the motor housing. A processing assembly extends upwardly from a second end of the base portion and is spaced-apart from the motor housing to define a processing area therebetween. An auger assembly includes an auger shaft that is operably coupled to the motor for driving rotational movement of the auger shaft. A clutch assembly is disposed within the motor housing and is operable between engaged and disengaged positions with the auger assembly. A disconnect feature is disposed on the motor housing and configured to selectively actuate movement of the clutch assembly between engaged and disengaged positions with the auger assembly. In use, a food substrate is mounted to the processing accessory and the auger shaft to process the food substrate.

In use, a food substrate is mounted to the processing accessory and the auger shaft to process the food substrate.
