20220258902 · 2022-08-18 ·

The present disclosure relates to a garbage bin, a bin lid, and an automatic cutting mechanism, wherein the cutting drive device drives the first cutting assembly to move along the first guiding assembly and drives the second cutting assembly to move along the second guiding assembly; the first cutting assembly and the second cutting assembly are approached and moved away from each other when moving back and forth. When approaching to each other, a twisted seal at the upper end of the garbage bag is clamped and cut, and after moving away from each other, a space is left for the new garbage bag at the upper end to expand downwards. The automatic cutting mechanism clamps the twisted seal, a size required to be heated is short, the required heat is little, the heating block and power consumption are low, thus the environmental protection is improved.

Device and method for cutting an extruded pipe to length

A method cuts an extruded pipe to length using a separating device. The separating device includes a separator rotating about an extrusion axis of the extruded pipe, the separator being rotatably mounted in the separating device, and cutting tools being arranged on the separator. The cutting tools are configured to carry out the separation. The method includes transferring energy to move the cutting tools. The energy is transferred from a stationary outer region of the separating device to a movable inner region of the separating device. The energy is transferred continuously or cyclically and the transferred energy is buffered in an energy storage device. The energy is transferred inductively or capacitively. A discharge time of the energy storage device is between 2% and 25% of a total separation cycle.

A handheld motorised food cutting device (10) is disclosed herein. The handheld motorised food cutting device (10) comprises a body (12) to be gripped in a user's hand so that the device (10) is supported by the hand, the body (12) having a passage (14) extending inwardly of the body (12) from an inlet opening (16) through which a food item to be processed is inserted for movement along the passage (14) in a processing direction (18); a blade assembly (30) moveably mounted in the body (12) for reciprocating movement along a cutting path that is transverse of said processing direction (18), with the blade assembly (30) being exposed to the passage (14) so as to be engaged by the food item moved in said processing direction (18); and a drive assembly (50) to drive said blade assembly (30) along said cutting path, wherein the body (12) provides a surface to abut a palm of said hand, with fingers of the hand extending at least partly about said body so that the body (12) is gripped, and wherein said processing direction (18) is transverse of said surface.

EMERGENCY STOP CUTTING MECHANISM FOR A WEB REWINDING DEVICE
20230391574 · 2023-12-07 ·

This invention provides web-cutting mechanism that can be mounted in line at an appropriate location between the web-handling peripheral (printer) and a web roll. The cutting mechanism operates before the available storage in the winder festoon has been exhausted, and decouples the roll's energy from the web. The cutting mechanism can employ a blade that is drawn through the web solely by the movement of the web itself. The blade is mounted at a (e.g.) 45-degree angle to web travel, causing it to be pulled through the web. A negator spring assembly and associated cable drives the blade into the side edge of the web when a slide-mounted blade shuttle assembly is released by a latching pawl of a solenoid assembly. The solenoid is triggered by a signal indicating an emergency stop condition, such as an upstream jam.
