The device comprises a feed roll of rehabilitative elastic tape, and a housing. The housing is comprised of a vertical cutting mechanism and a cutting die punch mechanism operably coupled in tandem. There are a plurality of actuator buttons operably coupled to and aligned with the blades for setting the blades to either a cutting position or a non-cutting position. The cutting die punch mechanism is comprised of a pair of mating tools, a die punch and a cutting die. The die punch is adapted to be moved into the cutting die by hand and attain the closest possible mating of said members for cutting or forming the rounded corners of a tape segment when the tape is fed into the punching mechanism.

A hand-held and operated device for splitting rehabilitative elastic tape into segments and rounding corners of the rehabilitative elastic tape segments and method of use is disclosed. A knife of the cutters has no handle but just has a curved force receiving edge at the rear edge. The force applying mechanism has two rocker aims driven by a rocker rod and a force applying rod bridging between the two rocker arms for abutting a force receiving edge of the knife to produce a shear force and pushing the knife efficiently to cut two incisions at an edge of the sheet. In addition, a bending mechanism is linked with the force applying mechanism and provided for flipping a plate between the two incisions inwardly to form trapezoidal notches required for installation at the edge of the sheet.

The first sharp edge has a first concavely-curved indent, and the second sharp edge has a second concavely-curved indent aligned opposite the first concavely-curved indent. The first and second concavely-curved indents form an opening between the first sharp edge and the second sharp edge. The opening is adapted to receive a pill for cutting when the first blade is moved in the first direction and the second blade is concurrently moved in the second direction, which effectively splits the pill for precise dosing and reduced waste.

A cutting device includes a first blade having a first sharp edge aligned in a first direction, and a second blade having a second sharp edge aligned in a second direction, opposite the first direction. A portable printer according to the present invention includes: a main body part having a paper feeding port and a paper discharge port; a cover part coupled to the main body part to be opened and closed; a cutting part disposed to be adjacent to the paper discharge port and cutting paper discharged from the paper discharge port; and an operating part sliding in at least two directions by an external force so as to operate the cover part or the cutting part.
