Severing a Cable Tie with a Rounded Cut
This document describes techniques, apparatuses, and systems for severing a cable tie with a rounded cut. Using a cable tie severing tool, a cable tie may be looped around an object and a tail portion received through a nosepiece assembly. A head of the cable tie may be aligned using an alignment indicator to ensure a rounded cut of the serrated portion of the cable tie at a finite distance from the head portion of the cable tie. A blade member may be displaced to sever the serrated portion of the cable tie and produce a rounded cut free of sharp edges. In this manner, the likelihood of abrasive damage from contacting the rounded cut may be reduced.
UNIVERSAL FLOORING CUTTER
A cutting tool includes a base with a table surface and a cutting platform. The cutting platform is suspended above the table surface and includes a blade housing. The blade housing includes a blade holder with a linear blade. The blade holder is slidably connected through the base housing. A housing column is configured on the base of the cutting tool. A handle raises and lowers the blade. A guide rail is pivotally connected to the table surface by at least one releasable guide rail connector. The guide rail is releasably locked with respect to the blade at a plurality of angles.

Slicer apparatus
A manually-operated, foodstuff slicer includes a top plate and bottom plate coupled together and housing a cutting blade within a recess formed between the plates. The top plate and bottom plate include spaced, circular holes defined therethrough and axially aligned, respectively, and the planar cutting blade having a handle and a plurality of circular holes which correspond in size and shape to the holes defined through the top and bottom plates. The blade is slidably retained between the top and bottom plates and movable along a plane similar to the plates.
CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool includes a bearing member, a first cutting member, a second cutting member, a manipulation member, an avoidance part and a measuring member. The first cutting member is fixedly disposed on one side of the bearing member. The second cutting member is pivotable about a first axle provided on the bearing member, and the manipulation member is pivotable about a second axle provided on the bearing member. The manipulation member and the second cutting member make up an effort-saving lever, in which the manipulation member drives the second cutting member to move.

Hand held punches for use in making individual jewelry display cards and kit encompassing same
Personal cutting devices in the form of hand held punches for producing jewelry display cards include two aligned templates having identical patterns of apertures and being securely mounted in a frame such that a space between the templates accommodates a piece of cardstock. There is a spring biased movable member having elongate cutting elements designed to pass through the apertures in both templates, and an activation lever on which indicia is printed to show the aperture patterns produced by the punches. A housing protects the mechanism. Each punch is specifically designed to produce a display card that can hold and display a single article of jewelry such as a pair of earrings, a necklace or a brooch. The punches vary in size according to the template patterns. The punches enable the jewelry designer to use any card stock, including a business card, to display an article of jewelry.
