A platform with a blade is slidable relative to the base from a starting position to an end position to score the flexible building material.

A multiple pill cutting device has a pivoting housing structure holding a blade holding assembly. The pivoting housing structure has a top housing pivotably connected at one end to a bottom housing. The bottom housing has a plurality of pill holding openings arranged in one or more rows. The one or more rows of pill holding openings have a slotted channel extending along a length of the bottom housing through and bisecting each pill holding opening. The blade holding assembly has one or more extending cutting blades. One blade is configured to align with each slotted channel when the top housing pivots closing onto the bottom housing, this moves the one or more cutting blades of the blade holding assembly to enter the slotted channels and cut pills held in the pill holding openings.

A device for dismantling a liquid crystal display includes a carrier platform, a dismantling bracket, a dividing piece and a driving component; the carrier platform includes a carrying surface for supporting the liquid crystal display to be dismantled thereon, and the liquid crystal display to be dismantled includes a display panel and a backlight unit bonded to each other; the dividing piece is located above the carrier platform and mounted onto the dismantling bracket; the dividing piece is capable of being driven by the driving component so as to move in a first direction and into a slit between the display panel and the backlight unit; and the first direction intersects with an extending direction of the dividing piece. The dismantling device for liquid crystal display can solve the problem that the display panel and the backlight unit are difficult to be dismantled.

A device for dismantling a liquid crystal display includes a carrier platform, a dismantling bracket, a dividing piece and a driving component; the carrier platform includes a carrying surface for supporting the liquid crystal display to be dismantled thereon, and the liquid crystal display to be dismantled includes a display panel and a backlight unit bonded to each other; the dividing piece is located above the carrier platform and mounted onto the dismantling bracket; the dividing piece is capable of being driven by the driving component so as to move in a first direction and into a slit between the display panel and the backlight unit; and the first direction intersects with an extending direction of the dividing piece. The dismantling device for liquid crystal display can solve the problem that the display panel and the backlight unit are difficult to be dismantled.

A support core includes a tube body for holding a device in an expanded state, a low-friction film disposed over an outer surface of the tube body, and a fixing device for holding the film in place, the fixing device comprising a loop of tape wrapped longitudinally over the film and through the tube body, or a tab on the film that is affixed to the tube body. To remove the tube body, the tape and/or film are cut so that the film can slide towards the front end of the tube body, and the tube body is then pulled out of the device.

The present invention relates to a step drive mechanism to be attached into the hollow body of a tool, making it possible to produce a thrust movement that can be easily carried out. To this end, the mechanism includes: a rack (2) that has a first (3) and a second (4) cog having back-slanted teeth (3a, 4a) arranged on an upper (2a) and a lower (2b) edge, respectively; a front end (2c); a pivotable lever (5) that comprises a hollow top end (5a) receiving a torsion spring (8), bearing against said hollow top end (5a) of the lever and against a thrust pawl (7) pivoting in the hollow body (1) in front of the hollow top end (5a) of the lever, and has a crosspiece (7a) inserted between the teeth (3a) of the first cog (3); and a pivotable locking pawl (8) provided with a crosspiece (8a) inserted between the teeth (4a) of the second cog (4). A compression spring (9) is arranged such as to bear against the locking pawl (8) and against an abutment (2d) located at a rear end (2e) of the rack (2).
