MOBILE POST PUNCH MACHINE
An apparatus for punching holes in posts in a transportation environment where the offset between the holes in the post and a vehicle running surface of a vehicle is constant over a transportation route. The apparatus has a frame and a hole forming assembly separate from one another, such that the hole forming assembly may be adjusted relative to the frame. The hole forming assembly can be adjusted relative to the frame and can be set at a specific offset between a location where the holes are to be formed in a post and the vehicle running surface. Once the offset is set, the apparatus maintains this offset for every post punched along the transportation route, so that there is a constant offset between the holes punched in the posts and the vehicle running surface.

Device for cutting extruded plastic profiles to length
A device for cutting a preferably thick-walled, extruded pipe to length, has at least one cutting tool and a receiving unit for the cutting tool. The cutting tool is radially movable in relation to the extrusion axis, is rotatable via a further component about the pipe to be cut to length, in order to cut the pipe to length, and is in operative connection with a ring element, which ring element can be moved via an axial drive, and the depth of penetration of the cutting tool and the path of movement can be defined using an adjustment unit. The depth of penetration of the cutting tool and the path of movement can be defined via the axial drive, wherein toothed rails can be moved more or less in order to achieve the desired depth of penetration.

Hydraulic hand-held knockout punch driver
A hand-held knockout driver includes a main housing having a handle portion, a motor positioned within the main housing, a pump assembly driven by the motor, and a secondary housing coupled to the main housing and defining a bore therein. The hand-held knockout driver also includes a working piston moveable within the bore from a rest position to an actuated position to define a piston throw distance therebetween. The hand-held knockout driver also includes a draw stud coupled to the working piston, a die coupled to the secondary housing, and a punch coupled to the draw stud opposite the working piston for movement therewith relative to the die. The die has a depth greater than the piston throw distance.

Cutting Apparatus Employing a Magnet
A cutting apparatus is disclosed which includes a cutter knife which is reciprocally moveable along a path of travel; a track member mounted adjacent to the cutter knife and which mechanically cooperates with the cutter knife so as to define, at least in part, a first non-cutting position, and a second cutting position for the cutter knife; and a magnet is mounted in a location on the track member and which releasably, magnetically restrains the cutter knife when the cutter knife is in the first non-cutting position.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR REMOVING AND BLEEDING FISH FROM A GILL NET
The present invention provides methods and apparatus for efficiently removing fish from gill nets and consistently initiating the bleeding process by providing electronic units having a flat outer surface with a sensor thereon, and a piston-actuated blade mounted behind an opening in the surface adjacent to the sensor. Electronics are provided to receive signals from the sensor and to operate the piston. In operation, a fish entangled in a gill net is brought near the sensor along the flat surface such that the fish gill is near the blade opening. Upon sensing the fish, the piston is actuated causing the blade to briefly extend through the opening in the surface in order to simultaneously cut the net and also punch into the gill of the fish, and then quickly retract. This action cuts the fish free from the net with minimal damage to the net, and also initiates the bleeding process.
CUTTING OR COMPRESSION TOOL
A cutting or compression tool comprises a housing and a driving group for moving a driving piston with respect to the housing, a fixed jaw with a first connecting seat and a second connecting seat for a stationary connection to the housing, a mobile jaw with a first fulcrum seat hinged to the fixed jaw at the second connecting seat and a second fulcrum seat hinged to a first connecting rod connected to the driving piston. The distance between the first connecting seat and the second connecting seat of the fixed jaw is equal to the distance between the first fulcrum seat and the second fulcrum seat of the mobile jaw.
