Paper processing apparatus
In accordance with one embodiment, a paper processing apparatus comprises a perforation unit configured to include a rotary blade for perforating conveyed paper in a direction parallel to a conveyance direction and be capable of moving the rotary blade in a direction orthogonal to a conveyance path of the paper; a skew detection section configured at the upstream side of the perforation unit to detect the skew of the paper; a skew correction mechanism configured to incline the perforation unit and the rotary blade according to the detected skew amount of the paper; and a control section configured to control the position of the rotary blade and move the rotary blade to a perforation processing position before the paper is conveyed to the perforation unit.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR SEPARATING DISCRETE ARTICLES FROM CONTINUOUS WEBS
Methods of separating discrete articles from continuous webs are disclosed. The methods use a separation assembly. The present disclosure further includes a cutting assembly and a pair of cutting rolls for use in the separation assembly.
CUTTING APPARATUS
A cutting apparatus includes a crop mark print controller and a front/back determiner. The crop mark print controller prints a first crop mark on a front side of a medium and then print a second crop mark over the first crop mark. The second crop mark is larger in size than the first crop mark. The front/back determiner determines that the medium is placed, with its front side facing upward, when only the second crop mark is detected by a crop mark detector, and determine that the medium is placed, with its back side facing upward, when a pattern including the first crop mark and the second crop mark overlapping one another is detected by the crop mark detector.

METHOD OF GENERATING MACHINING DATA CONFIGURED TO BE USED IN A SHEET PROCESSING SYSTEM
A method used in a sheet process system, which executes a plurality of times of processes by using one or more sheet process apparatuses processing a sheet by performing one or more times of machining and obtains a product in a desired form from the sheet, and generates machining data for operating the sheet process apparatus, and the machining data generation apparatus 4 includes a machining condition input unit 51 that inputs a machining condition for obtaining the product in a desired form from the sheet; a data generation unit 8 that generates the machining data including each machining data piece for operating the sheet process apparatus in order to execute each process in the plurality of times of processes, on the basis of the input machining condition; and a data output unit 71 that outputs the generated machining data to the sheet process apparatus that executes each process.
