SOFT TUBE GRIPPER FOR PUNCHING
A gripper for gripping a tube for punching may include a first arm having a lower portion and an upper portion disposed outwardly from an upper surface of the lower portion. The upper portion extends to opposite first and second side surfaces and opposite third and fourth side surfaces, where opposite edges of the first and second side surfaces each meet an edge of one of the opposite third and fourth side surfaces. The second side surface includes a groove extending from the second side surface towards the first side surface and along a length of the second side surface. The groove is configured to receive at least a portion of a tube when a second arm like the first arm is disposed adjacent to and aligned with the first arm.
PORTABLE PIPE CUTTER SYSTEM
A height adjustable portable levelling pipe cutter system is disclosed that keeps all sizes of pipe, secure and at proper cutting height, so clean precise cuts can be made. The system works with a variety of cutters and devices and keep level straight pipe for even cuts. The portable system holds and cuts all pipe sizes and can be adapted for many types of cutting systems, and can also hold laser measuring tools to ensure proper cut length. The system relates to a construction tool for proper cutting of all sizes of pipe in a safe ergonomic adjustable portable system.
INTERNAL PILE CUTTER
Assemblies to cut a hollow piling are provided, which may have a pressurized hydraulic fluid supply configured to supply enough force to cut through up to the circumference of a piling having a housing having a cavity to receive the hydraulic fluid, the housing having at least one cylinder wall; at least one piston assembly slidably disposed within the at least one cylinder wall configured to extend from the at least one cylinder wall in response to the introduction of pressurized hydraulic fluid into the housing cavity; and a blade attached at a radially distal end of the piston assembly, whereby as the blade extends through the cylinder wall, a cutting force is applied to an encountered piling wall.
Cutting machine as well as method for cutting elastic strings, in particular meat strings
A cutting machine comprising one or more form tubes that are divided in two in the longitudinal direction into a front form tube section and a rear form tube sectionat least across a portion of its circumference, so that the two form sections can be moved from a pressing position in which they are aligned with each other into a loading position in which they are not aligned with each other, and in the loading position the rear form tube section can be loaded with a new meat strand while the rest of the previous meat strand is still being cut into slices and moved in the front form tube section. The blade may be disposed to simultaneously cut slices from a plurality of form tubes and may be disposed for motion in the longitudinal direction as well as a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction.
Muntin bar fabrication system
A muntin bar fabrication system can be used to efficiency produce a wide variety of different types of muntin bars, allowing the fabrication of both standard and custom muntin bar assemblies for doors, windows, and other fenestration products. In some examples, the fabrication system includes a muntin bar stock storage assembly that holds multiple different types of muntin bar stock. The system also includes a muntin bar stock extraction device that extracts one of the different types of muntin bar stock from the storage assembly and conveys the extracted muntin bar stock to a feed device. The feed device feeds the extracted piece of muntin bar stock into a cutting system that includes a multi-axis cutter. The cutting system that performs one or more cutting operations on the extracted muntin bar stock so as to fabricate one or more individual muntin bars from the extracted muntin bar stock.
Cutting machine as well as method for cutting elastic strings, in particular meat strings
A cutting machine for cutting up pre-compressed meat strands into slices and a method for slicing pre-compressed meat strands, wherein the blade is moved forward in the feed direction to a limited extent after the blade has completely cut off a slice, and is either subsequently or simultaneously moved backward in the transversal direction. In this way, the forward movement of the meat strand to cut off the next slice can be started earlier.
A FILAMENT AND YARN PRODUCED ON THE BASIS OF A NATURAL PROTEIN
Disclosed embodiments describe a reconstructed filament comprising natural protein fibrils and an additive. Disclosed embodiments also describe a wool comprising: a plurality of staple fibers formed of reconstructed filaments, wherein the reconstructed filaments comprise natural protein fibrils and an additive. Disclosed embodiments also describe a yarn spun from staple fibers, the yarn comprising: staple fibers comprising reconstructed filament, wherein the reconstructed filament comprises natural protein fibrils and an additive. Disclosed embodiments also describe an item comprising a reconstructed filament, wherein the reconstructed filament comprises natural protein fibrils and an additive.
Apparatus for trimming paper rolls or logs and an operating method for treating the logs
Apparatus for trimming paper rolls or logs (2) including: a section for the entry of the logs (2) to be trimmed; a section for the exit of the trimmed logs (2); a station with cutting device (6) for trimming the logs (2); a device (3) for moving the logs (2, 2) between the entry section, the cutting station and the exit section; a device (4), associated with the log-moving device (3), for retaining the logs when subjected to movement.
Facer for End Fusion of Polyolefin Pipes
A facer facing the ends of polyolefin pipes for butt fusion is modular in the sense that it employs three types of modules, a drive unit, two blade holders and a motor assembly, that are separable from one another and each independently light enough to be hand-lifted along walls and up to ceilings. The drive unit module is adjustable to accommodate different guide rail spacings. The blade holder modules are interchangeable to accommodate different diameters of pipe. The motor assembly module has multispeed capability to accommodate the total area of material to be faced. Each module can be exchanged or modified without use of tools to change the geometry of the assembled facer to accommodate different fusion machines and/or diameters of pipe within working spaces dictated by the diameter of the pipe and not by a fixed geometry of a facer.
Method and apparatus for trimming cores
A core end piece collector for handling cut off end pieces during processing of tubular cores with a hollow centre portion includes a carrying member. At least a portion of the carrying member is configured to be arranged inside of a core during cutting of the core. The collector further includes a catcher being arranged on the carrying member, said catcher protruding from the carrying member at an angle in relation to the longitudinal direction of said carrying member such that the catcher is insertable into a cut in the core. The core end piece collector further comprises means for moving at least the carrying member in relation to the core.
