The present invention relates to an electrode cutting device including a cutting unit configured to cut an electrode sheet and a fixing unit configured to fix the electrode sheet, wherein the cutting unit includes a cutter configured to cut the electrode sheet by shearing and a cutter lifting portion configured to move the cutter so as to be perpendicular to a surface of the electrode sheet, and the fixing unit includes a gripper configured to press the electrode sheet so as to be fixed, a driving portion configured to drive the gripper so as to be moved, and a sensor configured to monitor the driving portion, whereby it is possible to rapidly and accurately check whether air leaks from the driving portion, which drives the gripper.

Disclosed is a pouch cutting apparatus for secondary batteries, which cuts remaining portions of a terrace of a pouch-type secondary battery except for folded portions, the pouch cutting apparatus including a frame, a lower cutting unit fixed to a lower side of a front surface of the frame and configured to support a lower portion of the terrace in a longitudinal direction of the terrace so that the remaining portion extends to the outside of a rear surface thereof in a state in which the pouch-type secondary battery to be cut is fixed, and an upper cutting unit disposed at an upper side of the front surface of the frame so as to be movable upward or downward and configured to cut the remaining portion extending to the outside of the rear surface of the lower cutting unit.
SYSTEM FOR CUTTING OF CUTTING STOCK
The invention relates to a system made of an electronic display device having a display screen for displaying augmented reality, an electronic memory, and a cutting device for cutting planar cutting stock, e.g., paperboard, corrugated cardboard, film, textile, plastic, foam, or wooden slabs or sheets. The system has a computer unit for computing a position and alignment of the display device in relation to the cutting device. The display device is designed to be worn by a user and positioned in the field of vision of the user. The system is designed to display to the user retrieved cutting-stock-related information by means of the display screen in a manner readable by the user in the field of vision of the user, adapted to the position and alignment of the display device in relation to the cutting device, and linked to an actual and/or setpoint position of the cutting stock.
APPARATUS WITH TOOLS CAPABLE OF SIMULTANEOUSLY MODIFYING A SUBSTRATE
An apparatus for modifying a sheet of a material (e.g., paper, cardstock, a plastic film, foil, fabric, etc.), or a substrate, includes a base, a handle and a plurality of tools held by the handle. The tools may be removably secured to the handle, and may be arranged in a variety of different ways. Each tool is capable of interacting with the substrate in a manner that will modify (e.g., cut, score, perforate, mark, etc.) the substrate. The handle is capable of being translated, or moved, at least partially across the substrate and of causing the tools to concurrently interact with and modify a plurality of laterally discrete, a substantially linear, substantially parallel locations of the substrate as the handle is translated at least partially across the substrate. Modular tools that may be used with an apparatus that holds a plurality of tools or with hand-held handles are also disclosed, as are methods for simultaneously modifying a plurality of laterally discrete, a substantially linear, substantially parallel locations of a substrate.
PILE CUTTING DEVICE COMPRISING A FIRST PILE POSITIONING UNIT
In some examples, a pile cutting device includes a first pile positioning unit, a cutting unit for cutting at least one sheet pile, and a bearing device including a first pile bearing surface. The first pile positioning unit includes an upper rotary plunger that can be pivoted about a pivot axis and moved with respect to a vertical direction, and also includes a first horizontal drive for moving a sheet pile in and/or counter to a horizontal direction. The first pile positioning unit further includes two upper pressing elements that differ from the upper rotary plunger, and that are movable with respect to the vertical direction. A first one of the upper pressing elements is movable in and/or counter to the horizontal direction by the first horizontal drive. A second one of the upper pressing elements is movable in and/or counter to the horizontal direction by a second horizontal drive.
SHEET PROCESSING MACHINE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
A machine and a method of manufacturing the machine are provided. The machine comprises a sensor, a plurality of tools and a processor. The sensor is configured to detect a sheet of a bundle of sheets. The bundle of sheets includes at least a first sheet having a first edge and a second sheet having a second edge, and the sheet is any one of the first sheet and the second sheet. The plurality of tools removably is disposed in a tool housing. Each tool of the plurality of tools corresponds to at least an operation of a plurality of operations, and each tool of the plurality of tools is arranged to perform the operation on the sheet. The processor configured to position the sheet and to selectively actuate at least one tool of the plurality of tools to cause performance of at least one operation at a first location on the first sheet and at a second location on the second sheet, and wherein the first location and second location are determined by the processor based on a first input to obliquely aligned the first edge and the second edge upon aligning the first location and second location.
CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool for cutting sheets of materials, such as, for example, sheets of building materials. The cutting tool includes a working table with a support surface. The working table includes a slot extending through the support surface. The cutting tool further includes a handle and blade pivotally engaged with respect to the working table between an open position and a closed position. The cutting tool further includes a guide rail that can be connected to the base in a plurality of positions relative to a cutting plane of the blade include a parallel position and a perpendicular position.
Device for Processing of Materials by Cutting and Cutting Unit with Oscillating Cutting Knife and Variable Cutting Angle of Inclination
A device for cutting material on a supporting surface has at least one cutting unit, which can be motor-driven in a controlled manner above and across the supporting surface in a direction of an X- and Y-axis of a Cartesian coordinate system that is parallel to the material supporting surface. The at least one cutting unit comprises an oscillation drive and a cutting knife. The oscillation drive sets the cutting knife into linear oscillations having an oscillation axis that is perpendicular to an advancing direction of the cutting knife. For changing an angle of inclination of the oscillation axis with respect to the material supporting surface, the oscillation drive with the cutting knife is pivotable around a pivot axis that is parallel to the material supporting surface. The oscillation drive comprises an electric motor having a rotary drive shaft that is parallel to the material supporting surface. The rotary axis of the rotary drive shaft is aligned with the pivot axis.
Die punch assembly
A die punch assembly includes a punch lid, a cutting die, a punch base, and an alignment stand. The punch lid includes a transparent lid window. The cutting die is coupled to the punch lid and includes a female portion and a male portion. The female portion includes a die base having an upper elevation, a die head, a die opening extending through the die base and die head, and a passage with at least two open sides between the die base and die head. The male portion is configured to slide through the die opening to cut material positioned within the passage. The punch base is coupled to the cutting die and includes a base opening aligned with the die opening. The alignment stand includes a top surface that is substantially planar with the upper elevation of the die base of the female portion of the cutting die.
