Glass Removal Tool

A system for removing glass sealed to an object such as an automobile is shown. The glass removal system includes a cord and wire glass removal tool and a remote control device. The cord and wire glass removal tool includes a body, a motor, a vacuum pump, an attachment mechanism and a power source. The cord and wire glass removal tool can be paired with a remote control device allowing a user to place the tool on an inner surface of the glass and operate the tool from a position adjacent to the outside surface of the glass.

Furthermore, an abutment protrusion (60) is provided on a connection surface (48) for abutting the positioning device (38) against a base part (28) to which it may be mounted. Also a sealing protrusion (64) is arranged on the connection surface (48) for compressing a gasket (42) being interposed between the positioning device (38) and the base part (28). A height (H.sub.a) of the abutment protrusion (60) is bigger than a height (H.sub.s) of the sealing protrusion (64). Additionally, a positioning assembly (24) is presented which comprises at least one such positioning device (38). Furthermore, a sheet material processing machine comprising at least one such positioning assembly (24) is introduced.

Packaging sizer

A packaging sizer can receive and segment packaging into two or more segments. The packaging sizer can receive the packaging on a conveyance surface and convey the packaging to a position for segmenting. A segmenting assembly can segment the packaging to form two or more segments. The resulting segments can be directed in different directions for different purposes. For example, one or more of the segments can be removed from the packaging sizer and one or more segments can be moved to a position for manipulation by a packaging manipulator.

The invention further relates to a vacuum hold down device (1) including such a support. The invention also relates to a process for replacing a first porous support by a second porous support in such a device.

A cutting device for cutting labels from a web of labelling material. The cutting device includes a first member rotatable having a blade and rotatable about a first axis, a second member rotatable about a second axis, and a cutting station. The second rotary member having a receiving portion to receive the blade, advancing the receiving portion around the second axis, and supporting the web. At the cutting station, the blade engages the receiving portion to cut the web covering one at a time the receiving portion. The second rotary member includes a first portion extending at a first distance from the second axis and comprising the receiving portion, and a second portion angularly spaced from the first portion and extending at a second distance from the second axis. The blade faces the first angular portion and the second angular portion alternately to one another.

Gripper

The present invention relates to a cutting apparatus having a gripper for gripping a product, in particular a food product, having a gripper base, and having a gripper head fastened to the gripper base, wherein the gripper head comprises at least one suction device that can be acted on by vacuum and that can be brought into contact with a section, in particular an end section, of the product to suck it in, with the gripper head being releasably fastened to the gripper base.

Punching system for electrode base material and punching method

A punching system for an electrode base material is disclosed, in which the electrode base material coated with an active material on a surface of a collector is molded or cut in a predetermined shape. The punching system comprises: an unwinder on which the electrode base material in the form of a roll is mounted and around which the electrode base material is unwound; a punching device spaced a predetermined distance from the unwinder, the punching device being configured to mold or cut the electrode base material supplied from the unwinder in a predetermined shape; and a curl correcting device disposed between the unwinder and the punching device to inject or suction air onto a surface of the electrode base material while the electrode base material moves to the punching device so as to planarize the electrode base material. A punching method for an electrode base material is also disclosed.

A method of processing a workpiece includes holding a face side of the workpiece on a holding table having a region made of a transparent material and forming a processed groove in the workpiece with a cutting blade. The forming a processed groove includes capturing an image of the processed groove on a reverse side and the face side of the workpiece, and detecting whether a position of a first central line of the processed groove on the reverse side and a position of a second central line of the processed groove on the face side are in conformity in a predetermined plane. If the positions of the first and second central lines are not in conformity, then the forming a processed groove further has correcting a position of the center of the cutting blade in order to bring the positions of the first and second central lines into conformity.
