Slicer with blade supports

An blade assembly for use with a produce slicer includes a first blade set having a first pair of opposing frame bars and a plurality of blades extending between the first pair of opposing frame bars, a blade cover positioned relative to the first blade set, and a blade support extending from the first target ring to support the plurality of blades. The blade cover includes a planar top portion having a first target ring that defines a first target area through which a piece of produce passes during slicing.

AUTOMATIC BREAD SLICER
20200009756 · 2020-01-09 ·

A device and a method for cutting a loaf of bread in slices having an input compartment adjacent to a set of parallel oblong blades which can be driven back and forth in their longitudinal direction. A pusher movable between a retracted position in relation to the blades and an end cutting position pushes the bread through the blades. A detector is provided to detect the presence of an object in the access opening of an input compartment which cooperates with the blades' drive to stop the movement of the blades when the presence of an object in the access opening is detected. When the presence of an object in the access opening is detected while the pusher is in its retracted position, the movement of the blades starts and the pusher will be moved from its retracted position to the end cutting position when the object is no longer detected in the access opening.

A produce pusher for use in a produce slicer includes a T-bracket. The T-bracket includes a base plate and a projection. A first fin and a second fin of a plurality of fins extend parallel to and in contact with the projection. A third fin of the plurality of fins extends parallel to the first fin on a side of the first fin opposite the projection. A fourth fin of the plurality of fins extends parallel to the second fin on a side of the second fin opposite the projection. A first spacer of the plurality of spacers is positioned between the first and third fins and a second spacer of the plurality of spacers is positioned between the second and fourth fins. A fastener extends through and simultaneously applies a compressive force to the plurality of fins, plurality of spacers and the projection.

Meat processing apparatus and methods

A meat saw pusher device is provided, for use with a table type meat saw machine. The device comprises a pusher panel disposed in sliding cooperation with a feed channel, the feed channel defined by a structure preferably having a smooth, flat bottom surface to promote ease of sliding across a smooth flat table of a meat saw machine. Preferably, the device includes a feed handle mounted for advancing the pusher panel, and a cutting and return stroke handle mounted to one or both sides of the channel structure for moving the entire device laterally in cutting and return stroke directions. A guide panel extending below a base of the channel structure cooperates with an edge of the meat saw table to guide a lateral cutting stroke movement of the device.

TRIMMER

The trimmer includes: a pusher 2 that pushes the bound material 1; a pusher moving device that moves the pusher; a positioning part 111 that positions the bound material pushed by the pusher; an allowable position memory that memorizes an allowable position range relevant to the pusher; an allowable reaction force memory that memorizes an allowable reaction force range relevant to the pusher; and a determiner that determines whether a length of the bound material is normal or abnormal. The determiner determines that: the length L of the bound material is normal; or the length L of the bound material is abnormal.

Garlic mincer

Devices, apparatus and methods for pressing and cutting garlic cloves in a handheld device. The device allows for positioning loose garlic cloves into a cylinder and rotating a knob to push a plunger down by a rotating screw to push the cloves through a cutting grid, and further slicing the cut pieces with a rotating blade. A quick release tab can be used to disengage the screw and allow the plunger and screw to feely travel so that the knob screw and plunger can be removed and new amounts of garlic cloves can be pressed and cut.

Knife, in particular for slicers

In order to prevent slices separated from a product caliber by a slicer from adhering temporarily to a cutting surface of a blade and not coming to rest on the desired position on a base when the slices are ejected, the arrangement of one or more recesses in the blade back facing away from the product caliber is suggested in a specific way.

Cutting machine as well as method for cutting elastic strings, in particular meat strings

A cutting machine for cutting up meat strands whose cross section varies over a longitudinal extension into weight precise slices as fast as possible, and a method for slicing such meat strands. Two or more strands may be received adjacent to each other in a respective form tube and pushed against a separately adjustable stop plate, which is assigned to each form tube, independently from each other by a controlled longitudinal press plunger. The strands may be compressed in the longitudinal direction and a cross section of the form tubes may be reduced in a first transversal direction jointly and in a second transversal direction independently from each other. Thus, the respective meat strand may be transversally compressed to a constant cross section for slicing.

Wedger

A wedger includes a housing and a plunger. The housing includes an interior blade assembly and handles extending laterally away from the housing. The plunger and housing cooperate to enable the plunger to push a food item through the blade assembly and the housing. The inclusion of the handles makes the wedger invertible, so that the housing may be pushed downward toward the plunger by grasping the handles.
