Device and method for cutting up food products
A method for the slicing of food products, wherein at least one product is fed to a cutting plane in which at least one cutting blade moves, in particular in a rotating and/or revolving manner, by a product feed which comprises at least one conveying device. At least one multifunctional work unit is adjusted in dependence on the operating situation into a contact position, in which the work unit presses the product moving in the conveying direction toward a lower product support and/or toward a lateral product contact, or into a blocking position in which the work unit counteracts a movement of the product in the conveying direction.
Smart Cutter for High Speed Produce Processing
A produce cutting apparatus is utilized, among other things, for making single cuts in an elongated produce product to trim ends, segment the product into variable length segments, make fixed length segments, and cutting out undesirable portions of the produce product. Using a combination of a feed belt, sensor, radial cutter apparatus and programmable controller, the apparatus precisely locates each cut. The cutting blade makes a single cut with each rotation of the radial cutter apparatus. The apparatus may further have a piece removal system and a product holding system.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CUTTING A MAT OR A PANEL OF MINERAL WOOL OR A BOARD OR A PANEL OF POROUS CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL
A device for cutting a mat or panel made of mineral wool or a board or panel made of porous construction material, including a system for moving the mat or panel made of mineral wool or the board or panel made of porous construction material, which includes at least one conveyor, capable of moving along a direction, an endless diamond element designed to cut the mat or panel made of mineral wool or the board or panel made of porous construction material, a device for running the endless diamond element in a direction perpendicular to the direction of movement of the mat or panel made of mineral wool or the board or panel made of porous construction material, the endless diamond element being an endless diamond wire, an endless diamond cable or an endless diamond strip.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRIMMING PLANTS
An apparatus and method for trimming plants is described. Workers place individual plants separating individual plants from plant and non-plant matter. In one embodiment, an air curtain is directed to a falling mixture of plant and non-plant matter. The air directs some of the plant and non-plant material into a waste or recycling bin and permits further processing of individual plants. In another embodiment, individual plants are placed in a trim belt and then passed through a trimming station that trims the individual plants.
Cutting device and method for cutting-off a length of a continuous strip to form a tire component
Disclosed is a cutting device and a method for cutting-off a length of a continuous strip to form a tire component, wherein the cutting device includes a cutting member for cutting the continuous strip at a cutting position and a feeding member that is movable in a feeding direction for feeding the length of the continuous strip in the feeding direction past said cutting position, wherein the feeding member is retractable in a retraction direction. The cutting device further includes a manipulator for retaining the length as the feeding member is retracted in the retraction direction, wherein the cutting position is located on the manipulator and wherein the cutting member and the manipulator are movable together in the feeding direction to cut-off of the length of the continuous strip at the cutting position on the manipulator while moving the length of the continuous strip in the feeding direction.
CUTTING APPARATUS FOR CUTTING FOOD ITEMS CONVEYED ON A CONVEYOR INCLUDING AT LEAST ONE CONVEYOR BELT
This invention relates to a cutting apparatus for cutting food items conveyed on a conveyor including at least one conveyor belt. A cutter is arranged above a gap extending across the at least one conveyor belt. The cutter is positioned in relation to the gap such that the cutting path of the cutter extends through the food items and the gap and below the surface level of the at least one conveyor belt. The cutter is adapted to be connected to a control mechanism for operating crosswise movement of the cutter along the gap. The gap is formed between adjacent elongated supporting means such as rollers with a fixed internal arrangement, where the adjacent elongated supporting means and the cutter is adapted to be connected to a control mechanism for operating back and forth movement of the adjacent elongated supporting means and the cutter parallel to the conveying direction while maintaining the internal arrangement of the adjacent elongated supporting means and the cutter fixed.
Systems and methods for cutting and cooking a substance
Systems and methods for cutting and cooking a substance are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: convey, via a primary conveying subsystem, a layer of food substance along a conveyance path; cut, via a cutter, the layer of food substance into food pieces; apply, via a primary pressurized fluid outlet, primary pressurized fluid such that the food pieces are released from the cutter; apply, via a secondary pressurized fluid outlet positioned above the primary conveying substrate and pointed toward the primary conveying substrate, secondary pressurized fluid so that the food pieces are held flat to a primary conveying substrate; heat, via a heating mechanism, air within a chamber to provide an environment suitable for dehydrating the food pieces passing through the chamber; and convey the food pieces for at least a portion of the conveyance path through the chamber and hold the food pieces flat with a secondary conveying subsystem.
PIVOTING BLADE ASSEMBLY FOR HIGH-SPEED FOOD SLICING MACHINE
A blade assembly includes a support frame, a cutting blade, a motor to drive the cutting blade, a support shaft operatively coupled to the support frame to permit pivotal movement of the support frame, and an actuator operatively coupled to the support frame to reciprocally move the slicing assembly between an extended position and a retracted position. When the slicing assembly is in the extended position, a plane of the cutting blade is substantially co-planar with a cutting plane of the food product, and the cutting blade slices the food product. Conversely, when the slicing assembly is in the retracted position, the plane of the cutting blade is disposed at a predetermined angle away from the cutting plane of the food product, and the cutting blade does not contact the food product.
Feeding apparatus
The invention relates to a feeding apparatus for feeding food products to a slicing unit, having a product support comprising at least one track for the reception of a plurality of products arranged one after another; and at least one product mount which comprises a holder for holding a rear end of a product viewed in a feed direction.
Seed potato cutting system with blade positioning mechanism
A seed potato cutting system includes a cutting roller unit with an endless roller chain, having a plurality of parallel roller sets, each roller set including a plurality of cylindrical rollers on a common axle, with lateral gaps between adjacent rollers, configured to convey seed potatoes toward a distal end of the roller chain. A plurality of pairs of parallel upright blades are disposed at the distal end, the blades having common rotational axes and a cutting edge that passes within a lateral gap between rollers, each pair of blades having a common adjustable blade gap therebetween.
