FEEDING OF PRODUCTS IN FOOD SLICERS
A food processing machine (10) and a method of cutting slices or portions from a food product (60) in a food processing machine are described. The food processing machine comprises an end gripper (40) for gripping a trailing end (62) of a food product travelling along a food product flow path towards the cutter. A gripper drive assembly (41) is arranged to move the end gripper from stowed position below the food product flow path to a raised position in the food product flow path after a food product has passed over the end gripper and then bring the end gripper into engagement with the trailing end of the food product.
METHOD FOR PRESSING AND CUTTING A PRODUCT PIECE AND CUTTING MACHINE THEREFOR
In order to be able to slice product pieces, whose cross-section varies along their length, into weight-accurate slices, after pressing to a uniform product caliber it is possible to measure these realistically in terms of cross-sectional area and length and not in a pumped up state of the machine. On the one hand, this is promoted by the fact that even before pressing, a cross-press stamp is set to a forming tube cross-section oriented to the unpressed product piece. On the other hand, this is promoted by the fact that after pressing, by lowering pressing force to a substantially lower holding force, it is possible to deform back the deformed, pumped up machine parts before measuring the product caliber.
Conduit space recovery system
Space in a conduit having at least one cable therein which is surrounded by a duct is recovered by longitudinally cutting the duct and removing the duct from around the cable. The duct may be pulled out of the conduit and past a blade to affect the cutting, or a blade may be pulled through the conduit to cut the duct while still in the conduit.
Magazine turret attachment for a portioning machine
The present invention relates to a magazine turret attachment for a portioning machine for dividing a strand-like product into individual portions and a portioning machine having such a magazine turret attachment. The magazine turret attachment includes a turret base rotatable about a rotation axis which has at least one chute extending through the turret base and the chute axis of which extends at least approximately parallel to the rotation axis of the turret base; and at least one first chute module which may be reversibly arranged on the turret base in the area of the first chute and which is provided with only one chute extending through said first chute module and the chute axis of which extends coaxially to the chute axis of the first chute of the turret base and the cross-section of which corresponds at least approximately to the cross-section of the at least one chute of the turret base in order to form a first reception chute for a strand-like product.
PORTIONING BELT UNIT, SLICING MACHINE EQUIPPED THEREWITH, METHOD FOR RETOOLING SUCH A SLICING MACHINE
In order that in a portioning belt unit with only two deflecting drums, the rear one of which serves as a drive drum and requires a large wrap angle, the rear end of the upper run of the portioning belt does not become increasingly more declined towards the rear until it reaches the vertical, in accordance with the curvature of the upper side of this drive drum, a smaller rearmost deflecting drum is provided, and the upper run is held bent between the foremost and rearmost deflecting drums with an approximately horizontal front section and an obliquely rearwardly sloping rear section by correspondingly supporting the upper run by a belt support plate or a center deflecting drum.
Weight variation method as well as slicing machine for its operation
In order to avoid underweight of slices when slicing a loaf into slices, thickness adjustments specified for slicing are adjusted depending on different pre-known parameters, from loaf to loaf and/or from slice to slice within one and the same loaf, preferably also across the boundary between two loaves optimized as early as possible so that existing weight conditions with regard to actual weight of the slices are maintained, in particular no more underweight slices are produced and/or the minimum average weight of the slices required for the entire batch is maintained.
MACHINE AND METHOD FOR THE AUTOMATED PRODUCTION OF STRAWS
Machine (10) comprising a feed unit (16) configured to feed a plurality of tubular elements, preferably made of paper, toward different working units (18, 19, 20, 21) configured to automatically carry out different workings on the tubular elements (12), including a deformation to make a bellows (13), a cut to make a pointed end (14), or an end cut obliquely, a bending in correspondence with the bellows and a packaging of each straw, the deformation being carried out before the cut.
SLICING DEVICE
The invention relates to a slicing apparatus for slicing food products, in particular to a high-performance slicer, comprising a product feed that feeds products to be sliced on one or more tracks in a feed direction to a cutting region in which the products are cut into slices during a cutting operation of the slicing apparatus by means of a cutting blade, in particular a revolving and/or rotating cutting blade, that performs cutting movements; a portioning region in which portions are formed from the slices and each comprise one slice or a plurality of slices disposed at least partly above one another; and a control device that controls the cutting operation and that has operating information that relates to the cutting operation, wherein a treatment agent device for providing a liquid treatment agent is integrated into the slicing apparatus and is configured to provide the treatment agent during the cutting operation such that the treatment agent is applied to a respective cut surface of a product and/or to at least one respective flat side of at least one slice, and wherein a control unit is provided for the treatment agent device and is configured to control the operation of the treatment agent device in dependence on the cutting operation on the basis of at least a portion of the operating information of the control device.
Slicing Apparatus
A slicing apparatus for slicing food products into slices comprises a feeding unit configured to feed products along a feeding direction into a cutting region in which a blade for slicing the products into slices is arranged, wherein the feeding unit comprises a moving device that is configured to move the products into the cutting region, and wherein the moving device comprises a transporting member that is configured to apply a pressure onto an upper product side while the product is fed into the cutting region.
