CATHETERS WITH BEVELLED DRAINAGE HOLES
A method and a device for forming holes (17a, 17b) through a lateral wall of a catheter are disclosed. The method comprises the steps of providing a section of the catheter between a pair of tubular punching members 6, driving at least one of said pair of tubular punching members towards the other in order to punch through said lateral wall 23 of the catheter and thereby sever one pair of oppositely located hole pieces from the lateral wall, actuating an ejection unit 7, in order to force said severed hole pieces away from the catheter via said internal lumen of the tubular punching members, withdrawing said pair of tubular punching members. A catheter 2 produced is also disclosed.
CONDUIT SPACE RECOVERY SYSTEM
Space in a conduit having at least one cable therein which is surrounded by a duct is recovered by longitudinally cutting the duct and removing the duct from around the cable. The duct may be pulled out of the conduit and past a blade to affect the cutting, or a blade may be pulled through the conduit to cut the duct while still in the conduit.
Device and method for mutual separation of two workpiece components of a plate-like workpiece
Devices for separating two workpiece parts, e.g., metal sheets, from one another are described and include a workpiece mounting, a lifting device arranged on one side of the workpiece mounting, and a counter-holder arranged on the opposite side of the workpiece mounting. The counter-holder can be transferred into a fixing state and into a releasing state. One of the workpiece parts to be separated from one another is provided as a removal part, the other as a remaining part. For separating the two workpiece parts, the removal part, which is acted upon by the lifting device and supported by the counter-holder, can be moved by means of the lifting device perpendicular to the mounting in relation to the remaining part by a removal movement. At least in the releasing state, the counter-holder forms a rigid abutment in the lifting direction for the removal part. The rigid abutment has the effect that the removal part is aligned parallel to the mounting. Machine-based systems include a processing unit for producing two workpiece parts from a sheet-like workpiece and a separating device as described herein. Methods for separating two workpiece parts of a sheet-like workpiece are carried out by means of the devices described herein and can be part of a machine-based process.
METHOD FOR ELIMINATING REJECTS AND TRANSPORT UNIT SUITABLE THEREFOR
A transport unit, such as a feeder of a packaging device, is provided, wherein the loading of the transport unit by portions is registered by a control and stored in a memory of the control. The transport unit, in particular its operating unit, is designed in such a manner that an operator can select and mark food pieces or portions to be removed from the transport unit and actually removed, on a display of the operating unit where they are displayed in a run during operation of the transport unit, whereupon the control automatically deletes the food pieces or portions in its memory.
For this purpose, the operator observes the transported food pieces or portions, preferably in reality, or on the display of the operating unit, and marks them as rejects, either by clicking on them with a cursor or touching them in the case of a touch-sensitive display.
Dual clamshell front end conveyor
A front end conveyor include a lower deck having a plurality of lower sheet supports, an upstream upper deck having an upstream end at the upstream end of the front end conveyor, a downstream end and a plurality of first upper sheet guides and a downstream upper deck having an upstream end, a downstream end at the downstream end of the front end conveyor, and a plurality of second upper sheet guides. The lower sheet supports and the upper sheet guides define a sheet transport path for moving sheets of material though the conveyor. The downstream end of the upstream upper deck and the upstream end of the downstream upper deck are independently pivotably mounted to the frame such that the upstream end of the upstream upper deck and the downstream end of the downstream upper deck shiftable toward and away from the lower deck.
CUTTING AND EJECTION METHOD FOR A CARDBOARD BLANK AND EJECTION STRIP FOR SUCH A METHOD
The invention provides a method of cutting out an opening in a flat cardboard blank (10, 12) that is for use in manufacturing a package, wherein a first portion (18) of the blank (10, 12) and an ejector tape (34) that face each other are pressed together between a presser tool (24) and an activation tool (26) that face each other so as to cause the ejector tape (34) to stick exclusively on the first portion (18) of the blank (10, 12). The invention also provides an ejector tape for such a method.
FIBER SCRAP COLLECTOR FOR A FIBER CLEAVER AND A FIBER CLEAVER
The present invention discloses a fiber scrap collector for a fiber cleaver and a fiber cleaver, which comprises a fiber cleaver main body and a collector, among which, the fiber cleaver main body comprises a fiber cleaver lid body which can be opened and closed and a movable blade holder; the blade holder carries a blade used to cleave fibers; the collector comprises a container box, an upper cover, an upper roller and a lower roller which can rotatably store fibers; and the upper roller is fixedly connected with the upper cover through an upper roller shaft. The fiber scrap collector provided in the present invention can improve the quality of fiber cleaving, thus improving the product quality and production efficiency. As a result, before the blade forms a cut on the fiber, the upper cover of the container is in an open state, and the fiber at the opening of the container is not clamped.
Apparatus and method for separating touch screen and display screen
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for separating a touch screen and a display screen, the apparatus comprises: a working base station configured to hold the touch screen and the display screen jointed together by a sealant; a heater mounted inside of the working base station and configured to heat and soften the sealant between the touch screen and the display screen; a saw wire arranged to contact a contact boundary between the touch screen and the display screen and to reciprocate at least in a tangent direction of the contact boundary so as to preliminarily separate the touch screen and the display screen; a first adsorption device configured to adsorb the display screen and remove the display screen from the touch screen; and a mutual moving mechanism configured to enable the saw wire to contact the contact boundary between the touch screen and the display screen and to move relative to the touch screen and display screen in a normal direction of the contact boundary. The saw wire is reciprocated between the touch screen and the display screen so as to complete a preliminary separation between the display screen and the touch screen, and then the display screen and the touch screen are separated by the adsorption device, thus the display screen and touch screen are not likely to be damaged and can be separated from each other successfully.
Waste stripping unit with simplified tool adjustment in a packaging production machine
