According to one embodiment, there is provided a cutting device including a cutting section configured to cut a conveyed long cloth medium into a predetermined length, a placement surface for placing the cloth medium cut by the cutting section, and a paddle section attached to a rotation shaft that is rotatable in a conveyance direction of the cloth medium, configured to come into contact with the placement surface by rotating around the rotation shaft, and configured to scrape out the cloth medium in the conveyance direction.

Front end conveyor having scrap removal brush

A front end conveyor includes a frame having a first side and a second side, a lower deck including a plurality of sheet supports and an upper deck including a plurality of sheet guides. Upper portions of the sheet supports lie in a first plane, and the plurality of sheet supports and the plurality of sheet guides define therebetween a sheet transport path for moving sheets in a sheet transport direction toward the downstream end of the front end conveyor. At least one helical brush is positioned at the sheet transport path and is configured to engage scrap material on the plurality of sheets. The conveyor also includes a drive configured to rotate the helical brush.

FOOD-PROCESSING SYSTEM

The invention relates to a food-processing system for processing food products (e.g. pieces of meat, pieces of cheese), comprising a cutting device (1) for cutting the food products into slices and a conveyor (4) for conveying the food product portions (6) away from the cutting device (1) along a main conveyor path, wherein the conveyor (4) fulfills several functions in the food-processing system, such as buffering, aligning, orienting and product formatting of the food product portions. The invention provides that the conveyor (4) fulfills the multiple functions by means of a discontinuous conveyor (4), the discontinuous conveyor (4) comprising at least one conveyed-products carrier (3) movable along the main conveying path, the main conveying path being freely programmable within a conveying area.

Front end conveyor having adjustable entrance support

A front end conveyor has an upstream end and a downstream end, a lower deck including a plurality of primary sheet supports and an upper deck including a plurality of sheet guides. Upper portions of the primary sheet supports lie in a first plane and the sheet supports and sheet guides define a sheet transport path for moving sheets in a sheet transport direction. A pivotable sheet support extends from an upstream end of the lower deck and has at least one surface lying in a second plane. The pivotable sheet support is pivotable from a first position in which the second plane forms a first angle with the first plane and a second position in which the second plane forms a second angle with the first plane, the second angle being different than the first angle.

A holding device for holding an element in sheet form 10 during its phase of insertion into a work station 300 of a converting machine 1. The holding device 310 includes a suction member 320 able to partially hold each sheet 10 by its rear portion during insertion of the sheet 10 into the work station 300. The holding device also includes a blower 330 able to flatten the rear portion of each sheet 10 against the suction member 320 during the phase of insertion.

Method and Device for Conveying Polymeric Oblates to Casting Machines and Application

A method for conveying pre-printed in-mould labels (IML) in a roller to a casting machine that moulds items such as cups or lids, where the in-mould labels must be integrated in items by being partially punched such that they remain fixed to the roller in points or bridges, after which the roller with the semi-punched in-mould labels is placed on a device from which the roller is rolled out in stages, such that the in-mould labels pass through a tool with holes which are shaped to fit the circumference of the in-mould labels. The in-mould labels are then removed with a device such as a robot with vacuum suction that tears over the river bridges that fix the in-mould labels to the roller and transfers them to the injection casting tool. An apparatus for achieving the method includes an unwinder for attaching a roller of in-mould labels from which the rolled-up in-mould labels are fed through a tool that contains holes which are shaped to fit the circumference of the in-mould labels.

Waste recycling mechanism and film cutting module thereof

A waste recycling mechanism is disposed on a film cutting machine and includes a fixing plate fixed to a cutting template of the film cutting machine, a pressing-head device disposed on the fixing plate, a tape, a tape reel and a collection device disposed on a platform of the film cutting machine. The tape is wound on the tape reel and is connected to the collection device after being wound on the pressing-head device. When the fixing plate moves downward with a cutting motion of the cutting template, the pressing-head device presses a film waste to make the tape attached to the film waste. When the fixing plate moves upward, the collection device reels in the tape to make a portion of the tape having the film waste separate from the pressing-head device and make a portion of the tape without any film waste wound on the pressing-head device.

Front end conveyor with chad wall

A front end conveyor includes a frame having a first side and a second side, a lower deck and an upper deck. The lower deck includes a plurality of sheet supports, and upper portions of the sheet supports lie in a first plane. The upper deck includes a plurality of sheet guides that define with the sheet supports a sheet transport path through the front end conveyor. A chad wall extends transversely to the sheet transport direction and has a top edge located below the sheet transport path and a front surface facing in the upstream direction and a plurality of fingers projecting from the front surface in the upstream direction. The top edge of the chad wall is positioned relative to the sheet transport path such that hanging chads depending from the sheets will impact the chad wall.
