AUTOMATIC BREAD SLICER
A device and a method for cutting a loaf of bread in slices having an input compartment adjacent to a set of parallel oblong blades which can be driven back and forth in their longitudinal direction. A pusher movable between a retracted position in relation to the blades and an end cutting position pushes the bread through the blades. A detector is provided to detect the presence of an object in the access opening of an input compartment which cooperates with the blades' drive to stop the movement of the blades when the presence of an object in the access opening is detected. When the presence of an object in the access opening is detected while the pusher is in its retracted position, the movement of the blades starts and the pusher will be moved from its retracted position to the end cutting position when the object is no longer detected in the access opening.
SLICING MACHINE FOR FOODSTUFFS IN BLOCK FORM
A slicing machine for foodstuffs in block form has a slicing blade for the foodstuff in block form and a shaft for receiving the foodstuff. The longitudinal direction of the shaft corresponds to the feed direction of the foodstuff in block form. The shaft has a first shaft region and a second shaft region which are at least partially separated from one another by a slot. At least one offset lies between the two shaft regions. The two shaft regions can be moved relative to one another such that the offset can be reduced by the movement.
PILL-CUTTING DEVICE
A cutting device includes a first blade having a first sharp edge aligned in a first direction, and a second blade having a second sharp edge aligned in a second direction, opposite the first direction. The second blade is oriented adjacently in proximity with the first blade so that they may slide closely besides one another. The first sharp edge has a first concavely-curved indent, and the second sharp edge has a second concavely-curved indent aligned opposite the first concavely-curved indent. The first and second concavely-curved indents form an opening between the first sharp edge and the second sharp edge. The opening is adapted to receive a pill for cutting when the first blade is moved in the first direction and the second blade is concurrently moved in the second direction, which effectively splits the pill for precise dosing and reduced waste.
INSTALLATION FOR CUTTING FOOD PRODUCTS EQUIPPED WITH MEANS FOR FILLING THE CHUTE
The present invention relates to an installation (I) for cutting food products which are in the form of elongated loaves (P) and which comprises: at least one assembly (E) comprising at least one chute (1) or magazine for receiving a loaf (P) of food product, this chute (1) having the form of an elongated compartment, generally directed from top to bottom, and configured to receive said loaf (P) via its open upper end (11), with the possibility of sliding so as to direct it towards and beyond its open lower end, under the effect of its own weight; a generally horizontal tray, arranged at a distance from the lower end of said chute (1), and a cutting blade arranged near this tray; displacement means of said assembly configured to alternatively guide said lower end near said tray so that said blade interacts with said loaf and executes its cutting.
It is especially characterized in that that it comprises on the one hand a storage unit (S) of food loaves (P) and on the other hand mechanized and/or automated means (5; 6) for picking-off at least one loaf (P) from said storage unit (S) and for transferring and loading it in said chute (1), via its open upper end (11).
CONVERGING SUCTION LINE FOR COMPRESSOR
A compressor includes an inlet and the inlet includes a flange and an impeller eye. The flange is connected to a suction line that transfers a refrigerant into the compressor via the impeller eye. The refrigerant flows into the compressor with an amount of swirl and a pressure loss. The suction line includes a geometry that includes a constantly decreasing cross-sectional area in a direction towards the compressor. The geometry of the suction line is configured to reduce the amount of swirl and the pressure loss.
Bread cutting machine
A bread cutting machine for bread has a receiving surface for receiving the bread to be cut, wherein the receiving surface has a first edge and an opposite second edge, and defines a receiving plane; a cutting device with an array of cutting blades placed at or near the first edge of the receiving surface, wherein the array of cutting blades defines a first plane; and a pushing device configured for pushing the bread to be cut along the receiving surface in a pushing direction extending between the first and second edges of the receiving surface, towards and/or beyond the cutting device. The pushing device includes a push surface for contacting the bread to be cut during pushing thereof. The push surface and/or the first plane are at an acute angle with respect to the pushing direction.

Bread slicer with a thrust means and a pusher device
A bread slicer includes an input compartment for a loaf of bread to be sliced and an output compartment for the sliced loaf. Blades for slicing the loaf are arranged substantially parallel to one another between the compartments. A thrust means extends at least on the side of the input compartment and permits exertion of a push force on the loaf while the latter is moving through the set of blades by clamping the loaf between the thrust means and the base of the input compartment. The base and the thrust means define a passage in the input compartment for the loaf. The thrust means presents a guiding plate with parallel recesses extending next to each other over the width of the passage. A mobile pusher device allows exertion of a pushing force on the loaf to move the loaf along the passage and through the set of blades.
APPARATUS FOR DETECTING THE BREAKAGE OF A CUTTING ELEMENT
An apparatus for detecting the breakage of at least one cutting element disposed in a guide includes at least one sliding piece which is linearly displaceable relative to the guide and which can be connected to the cutting element for holding the cutting element. A force applying element is provided to produce a force on the sliding piece so that if the cutting element breaks, the sliding piece is displaced relative to the guide. A sensor detects such a displacement of the sliding piece relative to the guide. A system having the detection device is also provided.
System And Method for Transitioning Assets to New Risk Frameworks
A device, method, and computer readable medium are provided for transitioning risk analysis. The method includes providing a first risk assessment, and providing a second risk analysis program that generates risk assessments based on a transformation model configured to convert risk based on (1) a first reference rate, and (2) one or more risk functions for one or more first instruments, into risk based on a second reference rate. The method includes generating a second risk assessment with the second risk analysis program, based on the first risk assessment and one or more target instruments that incorporate risk based on the second reference rate, the one or more target instruments being associated with a product or service.
