A method of manufacturing wall elements for buildings, cross laminated timber panels of a specific width and length stocks in a store, and the panels are sawed up transversely to the longitudinal direction to obtain cross laminated timber panels of the same width and smaller length. A plurality of panels are placed onto a conveying track transversely to the direction of running, and indeed such that the panels are flush at the top and bottom and the side edges of consecutive panels contact one another. The panels on the conveying track are connected along the contacting longitudinal sides to form a cross laminated timber apron. The apron is sawed up transversely to the direction of running of the conveying track to obtain cross laminated timber boards of a defined width.

Table saw

A table saw includes a base, a work table having a cutting opening, a tank for receiving cooling liquid, a blade partly extending out from the cutting opening, and a guard assembly. The guard assembly includes a guard for covering the blade and for moving upwards under the action of a workpiece. In a working condition, at least a portion of the guard abuts against the workpiece, and the workpiece can slide relative to the guard. The guard has a guiding wall which abuts against the workpiece in the working condition and which guides the cooling liquid into a kerf in the workpiece formed by the blade. The table saw effectively controls the cooling liquid splashed during the cutting operation of the workpiece and prevents the cooling liquid from splashing to dirty the operator, the work table, and the workpiece.

A circular saw includes a support surface for a workpiece and which has a saw blade slot, a main drive motor arranged below the support surface for driving a saw blade in rotational movement, and a saw blade holder connected to the main drive motor for the purpose of transmitting the rotational movement A height-adjustment apparatus, with a height actuator and a transmission element coupled to the saw blade holder are arranged to set the spacing between a saw blade holder and the support surface An electronic interface provides the input of a saw blade projection. A protection apparatus is connected by signals to a monitoring apparatus and the height actuator and is adapted to activate the height actuator for quick lowering of the saw blade holder when a dangerous situation is recorded by the monitoring apparatus.

CHIPPING, PROFILING, AND SAWING SYSTEMS FOR LUMBER PRODUCTION

The present disclosure provides embodiments of systems and apparatuses for cutting workpieces (e.g., logs or cants) into lumber. In some embodiments, a saw module includes a saw box that is suspended from a beam, movable laterally and vertically relative to the beam, and pivotable about a vertical pivot axis. Embodiments of a chipper profiler module, an infeed module, a mid-feed module, and an outfeed module are also disclosed. A system for cutting workpiece into lumber may include any of the modules in various combinations.
