Cut-Off Saw
A cut-off saw includes a saw housing having a support arm that protrudes outward from the housing front end. A blade drive assembly disposed in the support arm includes a gear set and is configured to transmit rotational motion of a motor to the cutting blade. A lock handle is pivotably mounted on an outer surface of the support arm and is configured to actuate a locking pin. In a folded position, the lock handle is configured so that the locking pin is disengaged from a drive gear whereby the blade drive assembly free to drive the cutting blade. In the unfolded position, the lock handle is configured to cam the locking pin into engagement with the drive gear, preventing rotation of the cutting blade. The unfolded lock handle serves as a manual grip that permits a user to stabilize the saw while attaching and detaching a cutting blade.
TILE SAW
A tile saw includes a base, a frame assembly disposed on the base, a first rail disposed on the frame assembly, the first rail having a longitudinal axis, a table slidingly disposed on the first rail, a support assembly disposed on the base, a saw assembly supported by the support assembly, the saw assembly comprising a motor, a cutting wheel driven by the motor, the saw assembly being pivotable about a horizontal axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis, and a switch electrically connected to the motor and disposed on the support assembly so that, when the motor assembly is pivoted about the horizontal axis, the switch remains stationary.

TABLE SAWS
Table saws are disclosed. The table saws can include a blade, an arbor, an arbor block, an elevation carriage, and a latch that connects the arbor block and the elevation carriage. The arbor block can have a first position in which the latch connects the arbor block and the elevation carriage, and a second position in which the latch does not connect the arbor block and the elevation carriage. The arbor block can pivot from the first position to the second position upon the occurrence of a retraction force. The table saw can include an actuator to cause the occurrence of the retraction force, and detection electronics to detect contact between the blade and a person. Woodworking machines with detection and reaction systems are also disclosed. A reaction system can include an explosive that causes retraction of a cutting tool.
Tile saw
A tile saw includes a base, a frame assembly disposed on the base, a first rail disposed on the frame assembly, the first rail having a longitudinal axis. A table is slidingly disposed on the first rail and a support assembly is disposed on the base. A fence assembly is attachable to the table and has a first fence and a second fence for contacting the workpiece. The second fence is pivotably attached to the first fence and pivotable about a substantially horizontal axis. A saw assembly is supported by the support assembly and includes a motor, and a cutting wheel driven by the motor.

TABLE SAW THROAT PLATES AND TABLE SAWS INCLUDING THE SAME
Throat plates for table saws and table saws including the same are disclosed. In some embodiments, the throat plates and/or saws include at least one securement mechanism adapted to secure and prevent inadvertent removal of the throat plate from the throat of the saw. In some embodiments, at least one of the securement mechanisms also provides a height adjustment mechanism and/or prevents vertical removal of the throat plate. In some embodiments, the throat plate includes an accessory mounting port that provides a portal for accessories, including safety accessories, to extend through the plate from beneath the table of the saw. In some embodiments, the port extends from the plate's outer perimeter to divide the plate's rear end portion into a pair of spaced-apart members. In some embodiments, these members are independently secured to the table saw and retained apart from each other by one or more of the securement mechanisms.
