Chainsaw carving guide bar
A chainsaw guide bar adapted for carving and shaping a workpiece. In one embodiment, a guide bar includes a mounting end, a distal working end, and an intermediate portion offset from the longitudinal axis defined the mounting end. In one embodiment, the guide bar includes an axially elongated recess providing an unsupported span of chain which is movable between undeflected and deflected positions for contouring a workpiece. The chain is engaged with and supported in a guide rail slot along the top peripheral edge of the guide bar. Various embodiments of the guide bar have an asymmetrical shape. The guide bar may further include an idler sprocket mechanism operable to guide movement of the saw chain along the outer peripheral edge of the guide bar.
CHAINSAW GUIDE BAR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
This disclosure relates to a guide bar for a handheld chainsaw. The guide bar comprises first side plate, a second side plate and a core plate, wherein the core plate is arranged between the first side plate and the second side plate providing the guide bar extending in a guide bar plane along a longitudinal direction. Each side plate is provided with a respective opening arrangement, each arrangement comprising at least one elongated opening extending in the longitudinal direction of the guide bar and fully through each side plate. The core plate is provided with an aperture arrangement, comprising a plurality of apertures, each extending fully trough the core plate. Each of the at least one elongated opening is provided with a respective plastic insert. The disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing of a guide bar.
Stabilized cutting tool assemblies
Stabilized cutting tool assemblies. A cutting tool assembly for use with a reference surface includes a tool holder having a rotational axis. The tool holder is arranged for attachment to a drive source arranged to rotate the tool holder and move the tool holder relative to a reference surface. The cutting tool assembly includes a rotatable cutting tool coupled to the tool holder. The cutting tool includes a cutting surface and has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is disposed adjacent the tool holder. The cutting tool assembly includes a stabilizer coupled to the cutting tool adjacent the second portion. The stabilizer has a bearing surface. The bearing surface is positioned on the second portion to abut the reference surface and to stabilize the cutting tool when the drive source moves the tool holder and the cutting tool to a position adjacent the reference surface.
CHAINSAW GUIDE BAR
A guide bar for a chain saw includes a bar member manufactured from a first metal material and having a wall defining a space in the bar member. A portion of the wall protrudes into the space. The guide bar also includes an insert manufactured from a second metal material. The insert is mechanically retained within the space and by engagement between the insert and the portion of the wall protruding into the space.
Method For Manufacturing Guide Bar, Guide Bar, And Working Machine
A method for manufacturing a guide bar adapted to be used by looping a saw chain therearound is provided in which the method includes a first step of preparing a guide bar body made of a first metal material, and powder made of a second metal material having higher heat resistance and wear resistance than the first metal material; and a second step of forming a coating layer that covers at least an end portion of the guide bar body by supplying the powder to at least the end portion of the guide bar body and performing operation of melting the powder at least once with irradiation of a laser beam.
GUIDE BAR AND CHAIN SAW
A guide bar is provided. This guide bar comprises three sheet-like members, which are a first metal sheet, a second metal sheet, and a resin sheet. A first surface of the resin sheet and a first inner surface of the first metal sheet make contact with each other. A second surface of the resin sheet and a second inner surface of the second metal sheet make contact with each other. Joining spots are provided to integrally join the three sheet-like members, at a plurality of spots in a region where the three sheet-like members overlap. A lateral surface of the resin sheet, the first inner surface, and the second inner surface form a groove through which a saw chain passes.
A METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF A GUIDE BAR FOR A CHAINSAW, A GUIDE BAR FOR A CHAINSAW, AND A GUIDE BAR BLANK
The present disclosure related to a method (100) for production of a chainsaw guide bar (5). The method (100) comprises the steps of providing (120) two elongated side plates (23a, 23b), wherein at least one of the side plates (23a, 23b) is provided with an alignment aperture (31b). Providing (140) a core plate (25) which is connected to an alignment plate (33) comprising an alignment aperture (31a). Positioning (160) a side plate (23a, 23b) on each side of the core plate ((25). Aligning (180) the core plate (25) to the side plates (23a, 23b) such that the alignment aperture (31a) of the core plate (25) is in register with the alignment aperture (31b) of the at least one side plate (23a, 23b). Joining (200) the core plate (25) and the side plates (23a, 23b) to form an elongated guide bar (5) and removing (200) the alignment plate (33) from the core plate (25). The disclosure also relates to a guide bar (5) for a chainsaw (1). The guide bar (5) is produced according to the method (100). The disclosure also relates to a guide bar blank.
SAW BLADE ARRANGEMENT WITH LUBRICANT SUPPLY CHANNEL AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING AND USING SUCH A SAW BLADE
Saw blade arrangement (100) for a chainsaw, comprising a chassis (103); a saw blade (110) having a chain guide (116) for a chain (101); a nose part (130) having a chain sprocket (150); and a lubricant provision device (104), arranged to provide a lubricant to the chain (101). The saw blade (110) comprises a lubricant supply channel (121,122) running lengthwise (L) along said chain guide (116) from the chassis (103) to the nose part (130).
