A pole chain saw includes a connecting rod and a front end assembly disposed at the front end of the connecting rod. The front end assembly includes an electric motor; an output device including a guide plate and a chain wound around the guide plate, where the electric motor drives the chain to rotate; a transmission assembly connecting the electric motor to the output device; and a gearbox supporting and accommodating the transmission assembly, where at least part of the gearbox is made of metal. The chain saw can effectively enhance the heat dissipation effect of the gearbox and increase the service life of a transmission mechanism.

Hand-guided power tool with an internal combustion engine

A power tool has an internal combustion engine with a carburetor with choke element pivotably arranged therein. A starter device with an actuating element has an operating position, off position, and at least one start position. A coupling element connects the actuating element with a choke actuating lever. The actuating element, upon adjustment from operating position into the at least one start position, moves the choke element into its start position. The connection between actuating element and choke actuating lever has a relative movement device which, in one position of the choke element, enables movement of actuating element relative to choke actuating lever. A holding device with guide contour is secured on the carburetor housing. In a start position of the choke element, the guide contour prevents movement of the actuating element relative to choke actuating lever from its start position into the operating position.

Provided is a chainsaw in which increasing the rotation angle of a brake handle during assembly of component parts around the brake handle facilitates assembling. A chainsaw has a brake mechanism for braking a saw chain via the operation of a brake handle, wherein the housing body side of the chainsaw is provided with: the brake handle, which actuates brakes; a brake link mechanism for actuating the brakes via operation of the brake handle; and a brake spring. A brake link cover for covering the brake mechanism is mounted using screw bosses. A rotation angle limiting member for limiting the rotation range of the brake handle is provided on the brake link cover side. Detaching the brake link cover increases the rotation range of the brake handle.

Chainsaw

A power tool includes a switch moveable between a first position enabling activation of a motor and a second position disabling the motor. The power tool includes a trigger movably coupled to a housing of the power tool between an OFF position and an ON position. The switch moves from the second position to the first position in response to the trigger moving from the OFF position to the ON position. The power tool includes a trigger lock-off pivotably coupled to the housing between a lock position and an unlock position. The trigger lock-off is engageable with the trigger to inhibit movement of the trigger from the OFF position to the ON position when the trigger lock-off is in the lock position. The trigger lock-off allows movement of the trigger from the OFF position to the ON position when the trigger lock-off is in the unlock position.

HANDHELD, PORTABLE WORK APPARATUS
