A hole saw includes a base member configured to secure the hole saw to a drive device, and a set of blade members extending from the base member. Each of the blade members is attached to the base member at a fixed position, and each of the blade members includes a sawing portion having cutting teeth. The sawing portion has a medial portion connected to the base member where the sawing portion has oppositely extending, freestanding distal ends.

The present disclosure relates to a saw, comprising a drive, a first blade configured to oscillate about an axis perpendicular to a plane defined by a surface of the first blade, a second blade configured to oscillate about an axis perpendicular to the plane in a direction opposite to that of the first blade, and wherein gearing is provided between the drive and the first and second blades to reduce the speed transmitted from the drive to the blades. A saw blade includes a blade body having a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the blade body is at least partially comprised of a first composite material or a metal; a cutting edge on a distal end of the blade body; and a coupling configured to connect the blade body to a handpiece adapted to oscillate the blade body. The saw blade may include: a first inlay portion and a second inlay portion, where the first inlay portion is either embedded in the top surface or covers the top surface, and the second inlay portion is either embedded in the top surface or covers the bottom surface; or an inlay portion sandwiched between a top portion and a bottom portion of the blade body.
