ORGANOPHOSPHOROUS, MULTIVALENT METAL COMPOUNDS, & POLYMER ADHESIVE INTERPENETRATING NETWORK COMPOSITIONS & METHODS

Certain small molecule amino acid phosphate compounds such as phosphoserine and certain multivalent metal compounds such as calcium phosphate containing cements have been found to have improved properties and form an interpenetrating network in the presence of a polymer that contains either an electronegative carbonyl oxygen atom of the ester group or an electronegative nitrogen atom of the amine group as the bonding sites of the polymer surfaces to the available multivalent metal ions.

Methods for host cell homing and dental pulp regeneration

Hydrogel-based scaffolds useful for promoting pulp cell growth and biosynthesis, regulating pulp cell migration and morphology, or both as well as methods for their production and use are provided.

SURFACE FUNCTIONALIZED IMPLANT AND METHOD OF GENERATING THE SAME

A pre-mixed strontium silicate-based biological hydraulic cement paste composition and preparation method and use thereof are disclosed. The pre-mixed strontium silicate-based biological hydraulic cement paste of the disclosure uses strontium silicate as the main phase and at least one non-aqueous solvent that is miscible with water, and preferably, it may further include at least one calcium phosphate compound and at least one radiopaque material, to prepare a biological hydraulic cement paste with excellent injectability. The material remains as a fluid under a sealed condition, and hydrates, solidifies and hardens when it is placed in a physiological environment and contacts with a physiological body fluid. The strontium silicate-based material having excellent biocompatibility and biological activity is used to prepare a pre-mixed strontium silicate-based cement paste, which can be used for medical and dental applications including fields of pulp capping, root canal therapy, dental restorations and the like.

Provided is a dental dual-structured membrane. The dental dual-structured membrane according to an embodiment of the present inventive concept includes a shielding portion for shielding a bone grafting material and an alveolar bone from the outside to prevent infiltration of other tissue cells, and an insertion and fixing portion connected to the shielding portion and inserted between a gum and the alveolar bone to fix the shielding portion, in which the insertion and fixing portion has a higher tensile strength than the shielding portion.

DENTAL PULP CONSTRUCT

Disclosed is a method for filling a root canal in a tooth. The method includes positioning a fiber in the root canal of the tooth, filling at least a portion of the root canal with an unset hydrogel composition, such that the unset hydrogel composition contacts at least a portion of the fiber, setting the hydrogel composition, thereby forming a set hydrogel, and removing the fiber from the set hydrogel, thereby leaving a channel in the set hydrogel. Methods and kits for repairing teeth are also described.
