SOY-MODIFIED RESINS FOR BONDING WOOD
Engineered wood products and binder compositions are provided. In preferred embodiments, the engineered wood products include wax. Methods are also provided for formulating binders for wood comprising unmodified soy flour and synthetic adhesives. The soy-based formulations are prepared by mixing unmodified soy flour with the synthetic adhesive prior to application to the wood or by adding them sequentially to the wood. The present invention provides adequate bonding at reduced cost.
LIGNIN REINFORCED ADHESION OF WOOD COMPOSITES PANEL PRODUCTS
It is provided a process to modify lignocellulosic materials with lignin, and incorporating lignin and isocyanates or other wood adhesive in wood products compositions, and their composition, preparation and application for bonding wood products are disclosed. The compositions comprise lignin, derived from a variety of natural resources, isocyanate compounds containing two or more isocyanate functional groups, or other wood adhesives.

HIGH-FREQUENCY HOT-PRESSING CONTINUOUS AUTOMATIC PRODUCTION LINE FOR DIMENSIONAL BAMBOO TIMBERS, AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
High-frequency hot-pressing continuous automatic production lines for dimensional bamboo timbers, and production methods thereof are provided. The production line can include a clip-up store and feeding mechanism fixed with one end of a three-roller type gluing system. An other end of the three-roller type gluing system is fixed with one end of a system for loading, layer up and stacking non-glued bamboo sheets. The outer side edge of the system for loading, layer up and stacking non-glued bamboo sheets is connected to a front inner end of a plate stack conveying system. A high-frequency press and high-frequency generator system is located at a rear inner end of the system for loading, layer up and stacking non-glued bamboo sheets.
SELF-SEALING JOINT SEALING SYSTEM
An integrated self-sealing joint sealing system that is incorporated into the factory edges of a sheathing panel prior to installation at a job site, eliminating the need to secondarily apply tapes or similar fluid-applied sealants, as the joints will become sealed when mated and installed next to adjacent sheathing panels. The system works with a variety of joint types, including, but not limited to, bead-and-cove joints, cove-and-cove, and cove-and-butt joints, with matching corresponding joint profiles along panel edges. A compressible sealant, adhesive or gasket material is applied to surfaces in one or both profiles at the factory during the manufacturing process. During field installation, the matching corresponding joint profiles are placed together so the sealant material is compressed, forming a complete watertight and airtight joint.

Method and Device for Continuously Forming Wood/Bamboo Molded Hollow Wallboard with Embedded Reinforcing Ribs
A device and method for forming a hollow wallboard, in particular, for continuously forming a wood/bamboo molded hollow wallboard with embedded reinforcing ribs, feature a simple process, with high production efficiency, and continuous production at low production cost. The method for continuously forming a wood/bamboo molded hollow wallboard with embedded reinforcing ribs includes: 1) driving a punch in a molding cavity by an actuating mechanism to move up and down in a straight line along vertical guide rails, so that the punch moves relative to a plurality of inner molding tubes and a plurality of reinforcing ribs which are vertically provided in the molding cavity and are in a movable fit with the punch; and allowing a heating mechanism to heat both an inner wall of the molding cavity and a wall of the inner molding tubes.
