The present disclosure relates to a method of forming a waffle slab with concrete surfaces that do not require polishing, the method comprising: providing steel molds connected to each other, and forming a space in the steel molds, wherein at least one of the steel molds has a hole; disposing a plurality of inner molds in the space formed by the steel molds; disposing predetermined steel bar cages between the plurality of inner molds, and between the plurality of inner molds and the steel molds; disposing a steel plate on top surfaces of the steel molds, wherein the steel plate comprises separate air holes; and pouring a Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) into the space from the hole of the at least one of the steel molds such that the SCC fills the space to form the waffle slab.

A hot-pressed geopolymeric composition and producing method for making the ultra-high strength geopolymer are disclosed. The hot-pressed geopolymeric composition may include at least one aluminosilicate source and at least one alkali activator and optionally any kind of fillers. The ultra-high strength geopolymer with various densities can be produced by applying low hot-pressing pressure in a short time.

A method of forming a coating includes providing a mold that has a flexible wall that defines a mold cavity, inserting a component that is to be coated into the mold cavity, the component having a component surface roughness and there being a coating gap defined between the component and the flexible wall of the mold cavity, introducing a molding slurry into the mold cavity, the molding slurry filling the coating gap and contacting the component so as to overcoat the component surface roughness, solidifying the molding slurry to form a green coating on the component, and consolidating the green coating to form a final coating on the component, the final coating having a coating surface roughness that is less than the component surface roughness.
