System for milk ejection reflex determination
The present invention relates to a system, method and corresponding computer program for milk ejection reflex (MER) determination, the system comprising a breast shield arrangement (1) for a breast pump (2) configured to be attached on a first breast of a female, a physiological sensor unit (4) for receiving a physiological reception signal from the second breast, which is opposite to the first breast, wherein the physiological reception signal is indicative of fluid contents in the second breast, and wherein the system is configured to determine a milk ejection reflex based on a change in fluid contents in the second breast. It finds particular application during and in connection with breastfeeding and allows for direct detection of the beginning of the milk flow in the breast, i.e. the occurrence of the MER, without delay and with a high degree of precision.
BREAST PUMP SYSTEM WITH CONTROLLER
Systems and methods for pumping milk from a breast, wherein the milk is expressed from the breast under suction and milk is expulsed from the pumping mechanism to a collection container under positive pressure. In one approach, the breast pump assembly includes a breast adapter and a receptacle configured to cup the breast adapter, and the breast adapter is removable from the receptacle.

In one approach, the breast pump assembly includes a breast adapter and a receptacle configured to cup the breast adapter, and the breast adapter is removable from the receptacle.
BREAST PUMP SYSTEMS
Systems and methods for pumping milk from a breast responsive to a controller, wherein the milk is expressed from the breast under suction and milk is expulsed from the pumping mechanism to a collection container under positive pressure.

BREAST SHIELD
A method for operating a breastpump unit for expression of human breastmilk and various breast shields for use in this method allow a maximum pumping performance and a minimum pumping duration per pumping session. The breast shield has an inner chamber for receiving a nipple (W) of the breast and also at least one outer chamber which at least partially surrounds the nipple. The inner chamber is subjected to a constant pressure and the at least one outer chamber is subjected to a pulsating pressure.

Breast Pump Belt Assembly
A breast pump belt assembly for securing a breast pump to a user’s waist includes a first belt which has a prominence integrated into the first belt. A buckle is coupled to the first belt. A second belt is coupled to and is oriented coextensive with the first belt. The second belt is extendable through the buckle to secure the first belt around the user’s waist. A pair of couplers is each movably integrated into the first belt. A strap is provided which extends through each of the couplers on the first belt. The strap is matable to itself such that the strap can be extended through a handle of a breast pump thereby facilitating the breast pump to be attached to the first belt.
