CELL FOR STORMWATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A cell for a stormwater management system includes a body portion, an internal region, and at least one of a top portion or a bottom portion. The body portion includes a plurality of corner columns spaced from each other, a first horizontal member, and a second horizontal member. At least one of the first and second horizontal members is adjacent the at least one of the top portion or the bottom portion and opposite the other horizontal member. The first horizontal member extends between at least two corner columns and has at least a portion curved inward towards the internal region. The second horizontal member extends between at least two corner columns and has at least a portion curved inward towards the internal region. The first and second horizontal members are integrally formed with the body portion.
Method for forming a frame core having a center leg for an inductive component and frame core produced accordingly
The present invention provides a method of forming a frame core (1) having a center leg (3) for an inductive component, and an accordingly formed frame core (1) having a center leg (3) and an air gap (4) in the center leg (3). The frame core (1) is formed integrally with the center leg (3), the air gap (4) being molded into the center leg (3) during the formation of the frame core (1).
PERMEABLE SURFACE COVERING UNITS AND PERMEABLE SURFACE COVERING
A permeable surface covering unit comprises a top surface and at least two pairs of irregularly shaped mating sides, one or more passageways extending downwardly from the top surface, and at least one under channel connected to the passageways for retaining liquid, such as storm water. The sides of the unit preferably define an irregular rotational tessellation element. The passageways may comprise gaps or side cavities between units and/or core cavities or other passageways within the unit. Optional undercuts may be provided in the core cavities. Pervious material plugs are cast into the cavities extending into the channel or undercut. Thereby the plug is locked into the cavity like a rivet and resists being dislodged by mechanical or hydraulic forces. A permeable surface embodiment comprises a combination of pervious and impervious units, wherein the ratio of permeable to impermeable units and resulting surface absorption rate may be adjusted.
Manufactured retaining wall block with improved false joint
A retaining wall block having a false joint and a system of retaining wall blocks. The retaining wall block includes a body having a first textured surface and a second textured surface and a false joint dividing the first and second textured surface. The false joint can have a depth divided by the width greater than two inches. The false joint can have an interior angle of less than ten degrees. The system includes a plurality of retaining wall blocks and a first course of retaining wall blocks engaged with a second course of retaining wall blocks below. Each block in the system comprising a front face having a first textured surface and a second textured surface and a false joint dividing the first and second textured surface. The false joint can extend a predetermined depth of a third surface.
ADJUSTABLE LOCATOR RETAINING WALL BLOCK AND MOLD APPARATUS
A system of retaining wall blocks, a method of assembling a retaining wall block assembly, and a mold for manufacturing retaining wall blocks having adjustable engagement configurations.
Method and apparatus for dry cast facing concrete deposition
An apparatus and method for manufacturing masonry blocks using a face mix shuttle comprising an angled shovel for depositing a controllable amount of face mix onto a surface of a masonry block.
Molded concrete U-wall construction block employing a metal reinforcement cage having stem reinforcement portions with open apertures formed therein for multiple purposes
A molded concrete U-wall construction block including a molded concrete U-wall construction block structure formed from cured concrete poured about a block cage made from reinforcing material during a block manufacturing process. The block cage includes an open aperture formed in each of its stem reinforcing portions. During the block manufacturing process, the first and second support members of a support mechanism are inserted within the open apertures formed in the stem reinforcing sections of the block cage, and cooperate with the open apertures of the block cage so as to (i) support the block cage when being loaded into a block manufacturing machine, (ii) define central apertures molded in each stem portion of the concrete U-wall construction block structure, and (iii) lift the molded concrete U-wall construction block when being unloaded from the machine.

Cell for stormwater management system
A cell for a stormwater management system adapted for retaining or detaining stormwater. The cell comprises a body portion and an internal region. The body portion comprises a plurality of corner columns spaced from each other, a plurality of wall portions, and a window. Each wall portion extends from one of the corner columns to another of the corner columns. Each wall portion comprises an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface of each wall portion is curved. The window is through at least one of the wall portions. The window is adapted to permit passage of stormwater into and out of the internal region of the cell.
