EXTRACORPOREAL BLOOD TREATMENT FLOW RATE ADJUSTMENT
Extracorporeal blood treatment systems and methods to display graphical user interfaces displaying a plurality of fluids areas, each including a flow rate, and displaying adjustment notifications proximate one or more fluid areas. For example, when a user adjusts a flow rate to a limit, one or more notifications may be displayed proximate other flow rates that may be adjusted to modify the limit.
Macromolecular compositions comprising indene-derivatives, preparation thereof, and use thereof
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a macromolecular composition comprising indene-derivatives. The invention also relates to the macromolecular compositions per se, and to methods of using the macromolecular compositions. The macromolecular compositions are useful for undergoing subsequent reactions with small molecules.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IDENTIFYING DISRUPTION OF A FLUID CONNECTION BETWEEN AN EXTRACORPOREAL CIRCUIT AND A PATIENT CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
A system and method for identifying a disruption of a flow from an extracorporeal circuit to a patient circulatory system is based on flow rate data, such as from a venous line of the extracorporeal circuit. A patient contribution to the flow rate data is identified and monitored to assess a disruption of the extracorporeal circuit and the patient circulatory system, or access device. A spectrum analysis can be performed on the flow rate data to identify a harmonic corresponding to the patient contribution, wherein a change in or disappearance of the identified harmonic can be used to identify a disruption of the flow.

Display apparatus of a medical treatment device
A display device of a dialysis machine for displaying various parameters containing a quantity of patient-related treatment parameters and a quantity of clinic-related CIS parameters. The display device has one display and an input unit to individually modify the quantity of patient-related treatment parameters or the quantity of clinic-related CIS parameters. The display includes a display area divided into a first display panel and a second display panel. The display can be switched to a treatment configuration in which the quantity of patient-related treatment parameters is displayed exclusively in the first display panel and the quantity of clinic-related CIS parameters is displayed exclusively in the second display panel. The display can also be switched to a CIS configuration in which the quantity of patient-related treatment parameters is displayed exclusively in the second display panel and the quantity of clinic-related CIS parameters is displayed exclusively in the first display panel.
Medical device having integrated sterile work platform
A medical device, such as a dialysis machine, may have multiple features and components that must be checked and attached prior to a treatment, and operators often lay tubing and other components on a surface after removing them from packaging. The system described herein provides a sterile work platform that is integrated with the medical device. In an example, the platform may be moveably coupled to the medical device. In a first position, the platform is positioned within or against the medical device, and, in a second position, the platform is extended from the medical device and disposed in a horizontal position. After the platform is extended to the second position, a surface of the platform is sterile and suitable to maintain aseptic technique for tubing and components placed on the platform. An information screen may be integrated into the platform and that provides information to an operator.
EXTRACORPORAL BLOOD TREATMENT MACHINE COMPRISING A VIEWING WINDOW WITH ELECTRICALLY SWITCHABLE FILM
A medical device for extracorporeal blood treatment having a housing section that is designed such that is can reversibly change between two transparency states by applying an electrical voltage.
Mount interface for a medical device
A mount interface is described that includes a latch; and a latching assembly configured to receive the latch so as to lock the latch at a set position with respect to the latching assembly, wherein the latching assembly includes a housing provided with an irregular orifice configured to receive the latch; a first plug disposed in the housing so that a first portion of the irregular orifice overlies the first plug; and a second plug disposed in the housing adjacent the first plug so that a second portion of the irregular orifice overlies the second plug. Such a mount interface provides rapid and secure locking of a latch to the latching assembly.

MEDICAL WASTE DRAIN SYSTEM
A system in a residential setting that carries dialysis waste to a sewer line safely, so as not to contaminate other areas, and is easily removed when dialysis is no longer needed in the residence.
