A variable shaping form (10) includes a variable frame (12) and a variable support (16) extending within or across the frame. The shaping form (10) is selectively adjustable to vary the shape of the support (16) to define a variety of differently shaped contours, each of which approximates a doubly-ruled curved surface. The variable frame (12) may be defined by a plurality of frame portions (18, 19, 20, 21).

The self-supporting structure has greater than 50% by weight of the active material in the self-supporting structure to provide an open-celled structure providing access to the active material. The self-supporting structures, which may be disposed in a processing unit, may be used in swing adsorption processes and other processes to enhance the recovery of hydrocarbons.

A monolithic airflow testing mold suitable for mating with a workpiece includes a platform portion formed from a first material having a first hardness. The mold further includes a workpiece mating portion surrounding by the platform portion. The mating portion includes a support region abutting the platform portion and formed from a second material having a second hardness, and a sealing surface positioned above the support region and formed from a third material having a third hardness. The sealing surface is configured to mate with and extend into a hollow portion of the workpiece. The first hardness is different from at least one of the second and third hardnesses.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IMPROVING CORE MANUFACTURING FOR GAS TURBINE COMPONENTS
An apparatus and method for producing a core for use in casting a gas turbine component is provided. The apparatus comprises a system having a cavity block with an upper portion, a lower portion, and a recessed cavity in each of the upper portion and the lower portion. Positioned within the cavity block is an adapter insert, and within the adapter insert is positioned a core die insert, where the core die insert is fabricated from a sacrificial material and has a hollow internal profile corresponding to an external surface of a core. A ceramic-based material is supplied to the core die insert where it solidifies. The core die insert is placed into a water-based solution and the core die insert is removed from around the core.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A CURED 3D PRODUCT
The invention is directed to a process for producing a cured 3D product comprising the following steps: (a) providing a form negative mould of the 3D product comprising of one or two formed plastic sheets as obtained by thermoforming corresponding with the shape of the 3D product; (b) adding a liquid curable composition to the mould such that the inner surface of the mould is covered by the curable composition; and (c) solidifying the curable composition wherein a solidified layer or body is formed having the shape of the 3D product; wherein the cured 3D product is a radiation cured 3D product; and wherein the step (c) a radiation curable composition is solidified by radiation through the plastic sheet of the mould to form a solidified layer having the shape of the 3D product.

The invention comprises a concrete form. The form comprises a first concrete forming panel having a first primary surface adapted for forming and contacting plastic concrete and a second primary surface opposite the first primary surface; a layer of insulating material contacting and substantially covering the second primary surface of the first concrete forming panel; and an insulating blanket adjacent the first concrete forming panel. A method of using the concrete form is also disclosed.
ARTIFICIAL STONE SLAB WITH INTEGRALLY FORMED PATTERN AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME
An artificial stone slab with integrally formed patterns and its manufacturing method that enables integrally forming patterns of various complicated shapes and colors in an artificial stone slab. The artificial stone slab includes a mixture prepared by mixing raw materials for artificial stone in powder state and a plurality of the patterns having various shapes and attached to a sheet. The sheet with the patterns is set to the inner side of a rubber mold. The powdered mixture is added into the rubber mold to integrally form the patterns with the mixture. The underlying sheet is removed to form an artificial stone slab with the patterns. The patterns are exposed only on the topside of the artificial stone slab or on both top and bottom sides of the artificial stone slab.

An apparatus and a method of casting an articulable mattress with a rough bottom surface for erosion control are disclosed.
