TURBINE SHROUD WITH ABRADABLE LAYER HAVING DIMPLED FORWARD ZONE
Turbine and compressor casing abradable components for turbine engines include abradable surfaces with a zonal system of forward (zone A) and rear or aft sections (zone B) surface features. The zone A surface profile comprises an array pattern of non-directional depression dimples, or upwardly projecting dimples, or both, in the abradable surface. The dimpled forward zone A surface features reduce surface solidity in a controlled manner, to help increase abradability during blade tip rubbing incidents, yet they provide sufficient material to resist incoming hot working fluid erosion of the abradable surface. In addition, the dimples provide generic forward section aerodynamic profiling to the abradable surface, compatible with different blade airfoil-camber profiles. The aft zone B surface features comprise an array pattern of ridges and grooves.

A machine for the digital decoration of products with granular materials and the like, comprises: a basic frame; at least one supporting surface for supporting at least one product to be decorated associated with the basic frame; at least a first digital printing head adapted to apply at least a first layer of fluid adhesive material on the surface of the product to be decorated; a deposition component/device/unit/circuit or the like of a granular material on the first layer of adhesive material; a removal component/device/unit/circuit or the like of the excess granular material; at least a second digital printing head adapted to apply at least a second layer of fluid adhesive material on top of the granular material, the second printing head being positioned between the deposition component/device/unit/circuit or the like and the removal component/device/unit/circuit or the like.
A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A BULLNOSE TILE AND A BULLNOSE TILE
A method for manufacturing a bullnose tile comprising the steps of: providing a ceramic tile that comprises a base body made of a ceramic material, wherein the base body has a main surface and a bullnose edge; providing a decorative layer on top of said bullnose edge, by inkjet printing a curable ink to form a dcor; curing said curable ink; wherein said curable ink, after printing, is in direct contact with the ceramic material of the base body.
Method for the surface treatment of an article
A method for the surface treatment of an article (2) by means of a robotic device (3) comprising a robotic arm (5) and a spraying head (4) fitted on the robotic arm (5); the method comprises a learning step, during which the operator moves the spraying head (4) by means of a handling device (9) and the movements made by the spraying head (4) are stored by a storage unit (8); and a reproduction step, which is subsequent to the learning step and during which the robotic arm (5) is operated so that the spraying head (4) repeats the movements stored by the storage unit (8).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COLORING TOP SURFACE OF CLADDINGS AND CONCRETE PAVING STONES
An apparatus for spraying fluid phase color is integrated into a cladding manufacturing machine and synchronized with the manufacturing process. The apparatus is attached to the basket through which the concrete of the claddings is poured into a mould; color spraying initiates after completing the concrete filling phase of the manufacturing of the cladding and the basket retreats to its starting point. Color guns, attached to the basket, connect to color buckets and pump and condensed air pumps to deliver sprayed fluid color onto the top surface of the claddings. A control unit controls the color spraying via a sequential, parallel or pre-selected program or set of values of parameters that determine the final design or pattern on the claddings surface.
DRY GRANULAR CERAMIC TILE FROM WET SLURRY SPRAYING PROCESS AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
A dry granular ceramic tile from a wet slurry spraying process and a preparation method thereof, comprises: applying an overglaze on a green body, applying a pattern by ink-jet printing, applying a dry granular glaze by bell-shaped spraying, and sintering to obtain ceramic tiles. The dry granular glaze contains: by mass percentage, dry granular frit A: 15%, dry granular frit B: 12% to 15%, dry granular frit C: 13% to 17%. The softening temperature of the dry granular frit A is 1135° C. to 1175° C., 980° C. to 1050° C. for the dry granular frit B, and 1020° C. to 1127° C. for the dry granular frit C. The dry granular frits used in the present invention adopts a combination of dry granular frits with three different melting points, and using such a matching method, it is convenient for the effective adjustment of the brick shape and the firing temperature during production.
MODULAR PRINTING MACHINE FOR CERAMIC PRODUCTS
A digital printer machine for ceramic products, including at least one conveyor, suitable for transporting the products to be printed along a feed direction, and at least one printing module, positioned along said conveyor and comprising an operating unit with respective print heads provided with nozzles for dispensing at least one printing fluid to be deposited on the surface of the products. The printing module includes a basement provided with a recess (R), underlying the operating unit, wherein the conveyor is inserted to make the products pass under the heads; the basement further comprises two completely flat and free lateral opposite flanks, so that the printing module can be matched to other modules along the conveyor until a complete mutual matching is obtained.
Apparatus and Method for Three-Dimensional Laminating and Coloring a Dental Ceramic Crown
An apparatus for three-dimensional laminating and coloring a dental ceramic crown includes a slurry layering module, a coloring module, a light curing module and a main controller. The main controller controls the slurry layering module to lay a slurry from a slurry tank to form a slurry layer, controls the coloring module to color the slurry layer with the colorant in a color tank to form a colorant layer according to a plurality of coloring parameter data, controls the light curing module to cure the slurry layer according to a plurality of laminated graphics.
