An imprint roller comprises a roller assembly, a frame, and a motor assembly. The roller assembly is supported on the frame and includes a vibrator head and a roller tube having a roller surface. An operator of the imprint roller may grip the frame and support at least a portion of the frame during operation of the imprint roller. The motor assembly is supported on the frame and operable to transfer mechanical energy through the frame to the vibrator head included in the roller assembly.

A method of marking a surgical instrument with a symbol formed in or on a smooth surface comprises forming a symbol in or on a smooth surface of the surgical instrument; and forming a plurality of angled surfaces over at least part of the area of the symbol. The angled surfaces define a plurality of parallel ridges and grooves in the symbol. The steps of forming the symbol and forming the plurality of angled surfaces take place substantially simultaneously in a single step.

A process for providing a fiber cement product is provided the process comprising the steps of:providing an uncured fiber cement product;curing said uncured fiber cement product;drying said cured fiber cement product to obtain a humidity of said cured fiber cement product being less than or equal to about 8% w;abrasive blasting at least part of the surface of said dried fiber cement product.

A decorative concrete with a very uniform finish surface and a method of fabricating the same is disclosed. A concrete mixture is poured over a subgrade which defines an exposed surface. The exposed surface is finished with any of several techniques, and the surface is then worked with an abrasive material, and additional techniques are used to color and seal the concrete.
